The government of India abrogated Article 370 of the Indian constitution in 2019 to remove the special status of Jammu and Kashmir. The move of the central government to scrap Article 370, article 35A etc to remove the special status of Jammu and Kashmir was challenged in the Supreme Court of India. In its unanimous verdict, the Supreme Court's five-judge bench upheld the abrogation of Article 370. This video explains the history behind the introduction of Article 370 and the special status of Jammu and Kashmir. The constitutional side of Article 370 and its abrogation is explained in this video.

In a very crisp manner, explained. Congrats. Normally, through Newspapers, it is not that much clear to understand the related Articles 370, 35 A and 367. The need for change in Constituent Assembly to Legislative Assembly is under ambiguity. The process of give back the statehood to Jammu & Kashmir is commendable that's through an election. The special observation made by the observant is giving a sense of backdoor movement in the process. Ultimately, everyone of us wishing that the problem should be solved amicably and happy to have an integral part of INDIA.
