Yes I do watch video completely. In that you were saying HCA's tax are comparatively lesser than nurses. Hence I mentioned that tax is calculated based on earnings and not professional. I felt that statement can mislead. Therefore I try to correct it.

Cost of living is really very high .Think twice or 💯times b4 moving. NZ has no manufacturing industries.🏭 . Only 2 grocery supermarket players therefore it is a monopoly and grocery , fuel , etc is too high . Everything is imported even tooth brush . Tax 33 % ( deducted before cashed to bank a/c. ). Take 35 % off from advertised salary. Plus GST 10 -15 % on all bills . The rest is you get in hand . Inflation , living cost is too high . Tax return in NZ is nil or very minimal . Part time jobs alone cannot manage more than rent if you are a student. As 80-90 % attendance is must theory ,practicals ,placements. Clinical Placements ( Healthcare during student period = not paid ) Not advisable to move to NZ.. Overtime pay will be taxed too high for skilled professionals from #grosspay* Has been here for sometime. Nurses Union is ineffective Takes 2000 dollars . All Union leaders are retired pensioners and especially old ladies so they are incapable to deal with Govt and negotiate . #Experience . Small country , high cost of living, rent high , savings minimal is a reality .
