എൻ്റെ 2007 മോഡൽ ഇന്നോവയക്ക് (4.6 Lakh കിമീ). ഇതുപോലെ തന്നെ ഓട്ടത്തിനിടയിൽ സംഭവിച്ചു. കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം ഹെഡ് കവർ പായ്ക്കിംഗ് മാറിയ സമയത്ത് മെക്കാനിക്ക് ഇൻജക്റ്റർ പൈപ്പിന്റെ ബുഷുകൾ മാറിയിരുന്നില്ല. വിവരം അറിഞ്ഞ മറ്റൊരു മെക്കാനിക്കിന്റെ നിർദ്ദേശപ്രകാരം എഞ്ചിൻ ഓയിൽ പരിശോധിച്ചപ്പോൾ അതിലേക്ക് ഡീസൽ നല്ല രീതിയിൽ കലർന്നതായി മനസ്സിലായി. ഏതായാലും ഫ്യുവൽ റിട്ടേൺ പൈപ്പിൻ്റെ വാഷറും നോസിലിൻ്റെ അറ്റത്ത് ഹെഡ് കവറിലുള്ള ബുഷും ഓയിലും ഫിൽട്ടറും മാറ്റി വണ്ടി ഇന്ന് സ്റ്റാർട്ടാക്കി, മറ്റെന്തെങ്കിലും കാരണത്താൽ ഫ്യുവൽ ഓയിലിൽ കലരുമോ, മറ്റെന്തെങ്കിലും ശ്രദ്ധിക്കേണ്ടതായിട്ടുണ്ടോ? Runaway occurs mostly due to turbo oil seal failures. It is rare, but it happens. Chances of oil in intercooler causing runaway is very less. Also modern diesel engines have anti shudder valve in the intake. This valve close automatically when you turn off the ignition thus cutting air supply to the engine. This may help in preventing runaway. But Im not sure how long it will remain closed. For VW Tdi engines, it will reopen automatically after few seconds. I would request all diesel car owners to worry less😊
