Ustomer at higher price...in effect..farmers still stay poor and consumers pay a high price...middlemens enjoy the luxury
Except apple others are costly than India may be thats the premium they charge while selling. India we have people from nil income to high income so products here need to satisfy everyone so most of the shops keeps affordable products.

Now try to compare the rates and you can see how affordable it is. It is something else that we are lacking 😏
