Grama Panchayath is a Malayalam Comedy Drama film written by Benny P. Nayarambalam and Ali Akbar. The movie is directed by Ali Akbar and produced by Kukku under the banner of Aroma Movie International. Grama panchayath stars Jagadish, Kaveri Muralidharan, Rajan P. Dev, N.f. Varghese, Zeenath Ap, Salim Kumar and Kalpana Ranjani. The screenplay is written by Benni .P Nayarambalam. The music was composed by Begni Ignatious. Cinematography was done by Madhu Adoor and editing by G.Murali. It was released on 1st January 1998. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Kokkers Filims.The Story , Pappu is a barber whose son Chakrapani has been promised in marriage to Sunanda, the daughter of Gunasekharan. Gunasekharan has a change of heart after coming into a fortune, and so Chakrapani must strive to win Sunanda’s heart.
