ഞാനും ഒരു സിംഗിൾ parent ആണ്.എൻ്റെ മോന് 3 വയസ്സ് അയപ്പോ ആണ് ഞാൻ separated ആയത്.ഇപ്പൊ മോന് 17 വയസ്സായി.. ഒരു.ജോലി ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന കൊണ്ട് പിടിച്ച് നിന്നു. ഒരു പാട് kashtappettu.ഇന്നും സാമ്പത്തികമായി ഉയർച്ച ഇല്ലെങ്കിലും സന്തോഷം സമാധാനം നല്ലപോലെ അനുഭവിക്കുന്നു .ജീവിതം ആസ്വദിക്കുന്നു .മോനെ നന്നായി അഭിമാനത്തോടെ നോക്കുന്നു..എൻ്റെ അനുഭവത്തിൽ സിംഗിൾ parent എന്നതിനേക്കാൾ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ട് divorced Aya സ്ത്രീ എന്നുള്ള നിലയിൽ ആണ്.കുറ്റം പറയാനും വൃത്തികേട് പറയാനും ആൺ പെൺ വ്യത്യാസം ഇല്ല .. നമ്മൾ എല്ലാത്തിനും നിന്ന് കൊടുകും എന്നുള്ള ചിന്തയിൽ ആണ് പലരും സഹായിക്കാൻ എത്തുന്നത്.. അങ്ങനെ പലതും ഫേസ് ചെയ്തു..പക്ഷേ എൻ്റെ മോൻ ഒരു ഡോക്ടർ എഞ്ചിനീയർ ഒന്നും ആവുമോ ഇല്ലയോ എന്നൊന്നും അറിയില്ല.പക്ഷേ അവൻ ഒരു നല്ല മനുഷ്യൻ ആയി തീരും .അതെനിക്ക് ഉറപ്പാണ്..

Am a single parent and my son is almost 18 years old now. Being from a muslim family, i raised my son single handedly only because i had a job. I didnt want to depend on my parents (though they were supportive) even before getting divorced, my ex got married without my knowledge. My son was then only 1 year old. Never my ex gave any financial support to my child. But i can proudly say that ive given my child all comforts and supports so farby the grace of God. ❤

Ninny so glad to hear you found strength and a community to help. My mother is widow and raised my brother and myself on her own. She was a nurse , that migrated to the USA. Luckily bc we live in the here she was never looked down upon as if she was in India. Here she is considered a hero for raising 2 children, educating them. Hearing your story I’m glad you overcome and showed everyone what you can be with determination. I hope you find the special person who deserves you and will be a great father to your son.

I have undergone the same situation as a mother in law! With great expectations we welcomed our daughter in law who is also a professional. Within a week my son and we parents started experiencing her wild fury and mood swings. Initially as a mom I counslled her thinking it must be her sudden change of environment,comforted her as we all are fun loving,cultured and loving. Slowly within 3 months my son realised the truth,she has some mental issues,but her parents never accepted our offer for medical help,saying she's still immature.We had a mutual comfortable divorce as our molu said ,amma I can't have a normal life like you all,how can you all be laughing and enjoying life when to me it's gloomy and sad always. Her parents came and apologized and we always think everything happens for a reason,it may be for something better. One year for my son after divorce was traumatic but we stood like rock behind him.Luckily he had to shift to another place as he got his dream job. There his friends introduced him to a malayali divorcee girl who is also highly educated . What I respect about her is after a trauma in life, she's always chirpy,has no regrets and enjoys life to maximum. We welcomed her with her child with open arms and are extremely grateful to God for bringing into our life such a genuine beautiful person. So I feel life just begins with a divorce,never regret for your wrong choice,all the so called problems take care of themselves. We are now a happy jolly family living outside Kerala entertaing friends and relatives and enjoying our retired life tothe full. God bless you Ninny,You will also find someone who will love you for what you are .Till then enjoy your life and passions❤

Hi Veena, I know Ninny from my Schooling and it's been 25 years ago. At that time whole School, teachers and students were proud of her, such an amazing and talented student in her studies and extra curricular activities. She used to 👑 first for most competitions. I'm sure that teachers blessed you a lot and still they are and God may shower the blessings through out your life and your family for you both Veena and Ninny. Thank u somuch for sharing ur survival story. The reality is in society we are hearing sad stories of divorced people such as suicide. We never knowing about the women who survived after divorce.
