To adopt your thoughts, our society needs 'time'.. How much 'time' ? Cannot be answered. There are people who have started thinking. Females are scared to lead their life on their own. They need a fool to meet their expenses. Similarly, males also. This will go on.. Nevertheless, there are couple who put up and succeed. There are exceptions, of course like other facts.
I have secured a government job... Now my parents are pressurising for getting married i am 27 years old ...i am hesitant to marry what should i do...i don't how to find or select a partner
If you absolutely don't want to marry, then tell your parents. If they keep forcing you to visit, talk to the prospective brides even after that, just keep attending but keep rejecting. But if the hesitation is about lack of knowledge and not necessarily against the system, then keep educating yourself, keep thinking on these topics again and again courageously. What is marriage, what's the current scenario, what are the values necessary when living with another, etc etc etc.
Human beings like meny other living beings always lives in a group and always had a leader a king was a kind of leader in human history so humans always have a tendency to choose a leader. By a leader I mean who is followed by people or considered as an ideal . There is nothing unnatural in it and same like meny other living beings humans also have their own methods for it. When there is righteousness in the heart, there is beauty in the character. When there is beauty in the character, there is harmony in the family. When there is harmony in the family, there is an order in the nation. When there is order in the nations, there will be peace in the world. So, the need of the hour is to cultivate righteousness in hunan hearts. The discussion on arranged marriage or selecting partners are irrelevant in a society where there is no basic understanding of righteousness. So this discussion is a waste of time unless people are worthy enough to live peacefully as a healthy society. Please discuss and find out a way for social wellbeing of people in the society. Day by day people are becoming more vindictive and indifferent towards each other. No system will work in a failed society, neither love marriage nor arranged marriage. On the other hand if society is healthy, peaceful, compassionate and inclusive, then couples in arranged marriage can also live with mutual respect and happiness. There are absolutely successful arranged marriages and awfully distructive love marriages so it's not the problem with the process but with the mindset of people involved. Have a look at it in this perspective and find better solutions if possible.
