I m in the UK, n most of what u say apply to the UK as well, once you manage to get in here, which is a bit more difficult due to the anti immigrant politics here now compared to Canada. Saw your vdo on the negatives, which is also strikingly similar due the public healrh care under NHS.
If you can get a good job or establish a small business I think Canada is good. Also I see there is more connections between friends and other families there. If the kids can grow level headed and if you can keep a good job, I think Canada is fine.
Conversion ratio is only beneficial if you intend to pay off your debt back home or build assets back home with clear intention of returning back.Otherwise your cost of living in the specific country outweighs what you make out of it.

Saw both the videos. As somebody who lived in Canada for 2 yrs about 10 yrs back this is my personal opinion. Agree 100% with the positives. On the negatives agree with 3 things viz. Weather (i lived in Toronto), racism (not explicit racism but implicit. But then again I have seen it everywhere not just in Canada but even in Middle East.) and the expenses part. The other 3 is a matter of perspective and not all that different in Kerala nowadays.

Yes, if you are making 1 lakh a month , then it's great in kerala. See, very few doctors from kerala migrate to Canada . I have never seen a mallu doctor in my entire canada life of 11 years. Because they get paid great, great flexibility and great mobility with less restrictions.

No competitive exams ? I don't get that. To get a licensed position like nurse, pharmacist, CPA, even immigration lawyer you have to pass competitive licensing exams. And yes if you want to work in Walmart for minimum wage then you don't need competitive exams. You pay loan repayment for long time , if you take long time. You can pay off your loan wherever you want. If you make extra payments, work 2 extra shifts a month , then you can pay off your loan way too early and save interest. Growth of business depends on owner ? Well how many pravasis suicide in India each year ? How many quit due to dirty politics and union games ?? Indian soil is not fertile to run a successful business compared to Canada. Here in canada people don't sell chemical infused fish and produce. At least they run honest business. And government provides a lot of support. In India how many months you have to knock the doors of government officials to get a sanction for a paper ??? Here you don't. You don't need to bribe anyone in canada. Loan facility a available in India and whats the interest rate? Here house loan interest is 2%.
