This is a Kerala State Port. This port was started construction in 2015 when UDF chief minister ummen chandy signed an agreement with ADANI Group. If you are asking about about investment 60% of the total investment is done by ADANI group,31% of the total is done by Kerala Government, and 9 % is invested by central government.After completion first 15 years all the profit is taken by ADANI. After 15 years they gave 1% of the profit for Kerala Government and for each year they increase 1% each and after 25 years the port should be fully handover to state government. Through this port central government gets 2500 crore profit each year.

V Sന്റെ നേതൃത്ത്വത്തിലുള്ള LDF സർക്കാർ ഇത് പൊതുമേഖലയിൽ നിലനിർത്താനാണ് 2010 ൽ vs. ശ്രമിച്ചത്. അന്നെത്തെ UPA ഗവർമെന്റും ആന്റണിയും മാണ് അന്ന് ആ പദ്ധതി പൊളിച്ചത്. ജയ ചങ്കരാ പറയുമ്പം ഇതും കൂടി ഒന്ന് പറയണം . പറയില്ല.ഉമ്മൻ ചാണ്ടി ആയതു കൊണ്ട് 1000 കോടി ഈ നാടിന് നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടിട്ടില്ല വിജയൻ ആയിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ 1000 കോടി മകളുടെ A/C-ൽ പോകുമായിരുന്നു

ദീർഘ വീക്ഷണമില്ലാത്ത കൊണ്ഗ്രെസ്സ് സർക്കാരുകളും സമരം ചെയ്തു നാടിനെ പിറകോട്ടു മാത്രം കൊണ്ടു നടന്ന സിപിഎം ഉം ആണ് വിഴിഞ്ഞം പദ്ധതി ഇത്രയും വൈകിപ്പിച്ചത്..ഇത്രയും വലിയ കടൽ തീരവും കപ്പൽ ചാലിന്റെ സാമീപ്യവും ഉപയോഗപ്പെടുത്തി നാടിനെ പുരോഗതിയിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടു പോകാൻ ഇവരുടെ ഇടുങ്ങിയ ചിന്താഗതിക്ക്‌ കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല... മോഡി സർക്കാരിന്റെ ശക്തമായ ഇടപെടൽ ഒന്ന് കൊണ്ടു മാത്രമാണ് ഇന്നെങ്കിലും അത് യാഥാർഥ്യമായത്...ബിജെപി സർക്കാർ അല്ലായിരുന്നു എങ്കിൽ ഇനി ഒരു അമ്പത് വർഷം കഴിഞ്ഞാലും ഇത് നടക്കില്ലായിരുന്നു... ഫ്ലക്സ് വെക്കാനും സ്വീകരണത്തിനും ഇനി കുറെ പേര് കാണും... ജനങ്ങൾ അത്ര പെട്ടെന്നൊന്നും കാര്യങ്ങൾ മറക്കില്ല... സമരം നടത്തി നാട് മുടിപ്പിക്കുന്നവരെ ജനം കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യുന്ന അവസ്ഥ ഉണ്ടാകാതിരിക്കട്ടെ..

The only place that will benefit from this Tamil Nadu.. that is the truth.. The stupid Communist bootlickers will not let businesses function properly so nothing will happen in Kerala. However, on the other hand since Tamil nadu is a lot more friendly toward businesses, they will allocate special economic zones in south tamil nadu and with their good road network, they will be able to accelerate the growht in these areas. the fact that they have so much open land in south tamil nadu will also help them.. We on the other hand will just struggle to handle the additional traffic created by the port. Until Communists are ousted from this state, we will not progress. This is a reality. But then I don't want Communists to be wiped out, because then BJP will become the second largest party in India.. and that is never good. So I would rather compromise on development than seeing my state sink into religious intolerance.. and hatred..
