കൃസ്ത്യൻ സമുദായ മാസികയായ ‘സത്യജ്വാല’ യുടെ ജനുവരി ലക്കത്തിൽ ഡോ:റോബിൻ മാത്യുവിന്റെ ‘ലവ് ജിഹാദ്’ എന്നൊരു ലേഖനം ഉണ്ട്. സംഘപരിവാർ ഉല്പന്നങ്ങൾ ക്രൈസ്തവ സഭകൾ ഏറ്റെടുക്കുന്നതിലെ കച്ചവട താല്പര്യം എന്താണെന്ന് വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്ന ലേഖനത്തിൽ കേരളത്തിലെ മറ്റൊരു സംഘി നുണപ്രചാരണമായ ‘മുസ്ലിം ജനസംഖ്യ’യെ കുറിച്ചുള്ള ഊതി വീർപ്പിച്ച കഥകളും പൊളിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. പതിവുപോലെ CDS അഥവാ ‘സെന്റർ ഫൊർ ഡെവലപ്‌മെന്റ് സ്റ്റഡീസ്’ പുറത്തുവിട്ട 1901 മുതലുള്ള ജനസംഖ്യ കണക്കുവെച്ചാണ് 2051ൽ എത്തുമ്പോഴുള്ള കേരളത്തിലെ മുസ്ലിം ജനസംഖ്യയെ കുറിച്ചുള്ള സംഖി നുണകൾ പ്രചരിക്കുന്നത്. ഇതിനെ കുറിച്ച് ലേഖനത്തിൽ കൃത്യമായി വിശദീകരിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. 1901ലെ സെൻസസ് പ്രകാരം കേരളത്തിലെ ഹൈന്ദവർ 68%, മുസ്ലിംകൾ 17%, കൃസ്ത്യാനികൾ 14% ആണുള്ളത്. ഈ സമയത്ത് മുസ്ലിംകൾ ക്രൈസ്തവരേക്കാൾ കൂടുതലാണ് പക്ഷെ 1941 ൽ എത്തുമ്പോൾ ഹിന്ദു ജനസംഖ്യ കുറഞ്ഞ് 61.8% വും കൃസ്ത്യൻ ജനംസഖ്യ വർദ്ധിച്ച് 20.9% വും മുസ്ലിം ജനസംഖ്യ നേരിയ വർദ്ധനവിൽ 17.4 % ഉം ആയി. അതായത് ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് ഭരണത്തിനു കീഴിൽ ഹിന്ദു സമൂഹത്തിൽ നിന്ന് കൃസ്ത്യൻ സമുദായത്തിലേക്ക് വലിയ രൂപത്തിൽ മതപരിവർത്തനം ഉണ്ടായി. അതിന്റെ പ്രതിഫലനം ആണ് കൃസ്ത്യൻ ജനസംഖ്യയിൽ ഉണ്ടായ 7 % വർദ്ധനവും ഹിന്ദു ജനസംഖ്യയിൽ ഉണ്ടായ 7 % ഇടിവും. പക്ഷെ എഴുപതുകൾ മുതൽ ഹൈന്ദവ- കൃസ്ത്യൻ ജനസംഖ്യയിൽ ക്രമമായ കുറവ് വന്നു തുടങ്ങി.. കാരണം എന്താണ്?? മതപരിവർത്തനം? മുസ്ലിംകൾ കൂടുതൽ കുട്ടികളെ ഉല്പാദിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്?? നമുക്ക് നോക്കാം.. സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യ ലബ്ദിക്ക് ശേഷമാണ് കേരളത്തിൽ നിന്നും ഇതര സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലേക്കും ഗൾഫ് നാടുകളിലെക്കും യൂറോപ്പിലേക്കും അമേരിക്കയിലേക്കുമുള്ള വ്യാപകമായ കുടിയേറ്റം ആരംഭിക്കുന്നത്. ഈ കുടിയേറ്റങ്ങൾക്ക് ചില പ്രത്യേകഥകൾ ഉണ്ട്. ഗൾഫ് നാടുകളിലേക്കുള്ള കുടിയേറ്റം തീർത്തും തൊഴിലധിഷ്ടിതമായിരുന്നു. മാത്രമല്ല കുടിയേറിയവർ ആരും തന്നെ ഗൾഫ് നാടുകളിൽ സ്ഥിരതാമസക്കാരുമായിട്ടില്ല അതേസമയം ഇതര സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലേക്കും, പാശ്ചാത്യ നാടുകളിലേക്കുമുള്ള കുടിയേറ്റം ഏറെക്കുറെ സ്ഥിരതാമസം ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ടുള്ളതായിരുന്നു. കുടീയേറിയവരിൽ ഭൂരിഭാഗവും ആ നാടുകളിൽ സ്ഥിരതാമസം ആക്കിയവരോ, അതിനു ശ്രമം നടത്തുന്നവരോ ആകുന്നു. ഈ കുടിയേറ്റത്തിന്റെ മതപരമായ കണക്കെടുത്താൽ ഗൾഫ് നാടുകളിലേക്ക് തൊഴിൽ തേടി പോകുകയും അതോടൊപ്പം കേരളത്തിലെ വേരുകൾ നിലനിർത്തുകയും ചെയ്തവരിൽ മാത്രമാണ് മുസ്ലിംകളുടെ വലിയ പ്രാതിനിധ്യം ഉള്ളത്. അതേസമയം ഇതരസംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലും പാശ്ചാത്യ രാജ്യങ്ങളിലും ആഫ്രിക്കയിലേക്കും ആസ്ത്രേലിയയിലേക്കുമൊക്കെ ജോലി തേടിപോകുകയും പിന്നീട് അവിടെ സ്ഥിരതാമസം ആക്കിയവരിൽ മുസ്ലിം പ്രാതിനിധ്യം തുലോം കുറവാണ്. ഇതിൽ തന്നെ പാശ്ചാത്യ രാജ്യങ്ങളിലേക്കും ആഫ്രിക്കയിലേക്കും ആസ്ത്രേലിയയിലേക്കുമുള്ള കുടിയേറ്റത്തിൽ മുസ്ലിംകൾക്ക് നാമമാത്ര പ്രാതിനിധ്യം പോലും ഇല്ല എന്നത് അടിവരയിടുന്നു. ഈ കുടിയേറ്റത്തിന്റെ സിംഹഭാഗവും ഹൈന്ദവ- ക്രൈസ്തവരാണ്. കുടിയേറീയ നാടുകളിൽ സ്ഥിരതാമസം ആക്കി പാസ്പോർട്ടും വൊട്ടും റേഷൻ കാർഡുകളും ഒക്കെ ആ നാടിന്റേതാക്കി മാറ്റി കേരളത്തിന്റെ വേരുകൾ സ്വയം അറുത്തുമാറ്റിയവർ. ഇങ്ങിനെയുള്ള മലയാളികൾ എത്ര വരും? കണക്ക് നോക്കാം. ഡെൽഹിയിൽ മാത്രം 15 ലക്ഷവും മുംബയിൽ 25 ലക്ഷവും മലയാളികൾ കുടിയേറി സ്ഥിരതാമസമാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. അഹമ്മദാബാദ് ബാംഗ്ലൂർ കൽക്കത്ത ഗുജറാത്ത് ചെന്നൈ എന്നിങ്ങനെ മറ്റെല്ലാ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലും കുടിയേറ്റം നടത്തി സ്ഥിരതാമസം ആക്കിയവർ വേറെ. ഇതൊന്നും കൂടാതെയാണ് പാശ്ചാത്യ രാജ്യങ്ങളിലേക്കും ആസ്ത്രേലിയ, ആഫ്രിക്കൻ രാജ്യങ്ങളിലേക്കുമുള്ള ദശലക്ഷക്കണക്കുനു വരുന്ന കുടിയേറ്റം. കേരളത്തിലെ ആകെ ജനസംഖ്യ ഇപ്പോഴും കോടി 38 ലക്ഷം മാത്രമാണെന്ന് ഓർക്കുക. ഇവിടെയാണ് വേരുകൾ അറുത്ത് കുടിയേറിപ്പോയ ഹൈന്ദവ-ക്രൈസ്തവ ദശലക്ഷങ്ങളുടെ പ്രസക്തി. കേരളത്തിലെ ഹൈന്ദവ- ക്രൈസ്തവ ജനസംഖ്യ കുറയാൻ കാരണം എന്താണെന്ന് ഇനിയും തലപുകഞ്ഞ് ആലോചിക്കേണ്ടതുണ്ടോ??? ഡോക്ടർ റോബിന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ കടമെടുത്താൽ “ മുസ്ലിം ജനസംഖ്യയിൽ ആശങ്ക ഉള്ളവർ, ഇതര സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലേക്കും പാശ്ചാത്യരാജ്യങ്ങളിലേക്കും കുടിയേറിയ തങ്ങളുടെ സമുദായത്തെ കേരളത്തിലേക്ക് തിരിച്ച് വിളിക്കുക, കേരളത്തിലെ വേരുകൾ അറുത്ത് അന്യനാടുകളിലേക്ക് കുടിയേറിപ്പോകാനുള്ള ശ്രമങ്ങൾ നിരുത്സാഹപ്പെടുത്തുക, അതോടെ ഈ പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾക്ക് പരിഹാരം ആകും
ബ്രദർ സന്തോഷ് കരുമത്ര, ഒരു കാര്യം ഒന്ന് ശ്രദ്ധിക്കണേ... 20 വർഷങ്ങൾക്കു മുൻപ്, ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് രണ്ടാമത്തെ കുഞ്ഞു ഉണ്ടായപ്പോൾ, ഞങ്ങൾ സാമ്പത്തികമായി വളരെ തകർന്ന അവസ്ഥയിലായിരുന്നു. ഉള്ള ജോലി നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു. നാത്തൂൻ പോര് ഉള്ള സമയം ആയിരുന്നു എൻറെ വീട്ടിൽ നിന്ന് ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് വേണ്ടവിധം സപ്പോർട്ട് കിട്ടിയിരുന്നില്ല. അതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ കുഞ്ഞു ജനിച്ച കാര്യം കുടുംബത്തിൽ പറഞ്ഞുമില്ല. ഒരു സി എസ് ഐ മിഷൻ ഹോസ്പിറ്റലിൽ കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു ആരുമറിയാതെ അബോർഷൻ ചെയ്തു. ആദ്യ കുഞ്ഞ് വളരെ ചെറുപ്പമാണ്. രണ്ടാമത്തെ ഉദരത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടായി. ജോലി നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു. വീട്ടുകാരുടെ ചിലവിൽ കഴിയേണ്ടിവരുന്നു. ഈ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ ഇതല്ലാതെ വേറെ വഴിയുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല. എന്നാൽ അധികം കഴിയുന്നതിനു മുൻപേ.. എനിക്ക് ചെറിയ ജോലി ലഭിക്കുകയും, പതുക്കെ ചെറിയ ബിസിനസിലേക്ക് മാറുകയും ചെയ്തതോടുകൂടി. സാമ്പത്തികസ്ഥിതി ഉയർന്നു. ചെയ്ത തെറ്റിന് ഓർത്ത് അനുതപിച്ചു. കഴിയാവുന്നിട ത്തോളം പ്രായശ്ചിത്തങ്ങൾ ചെയ്തു. ഈ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ 10 മക്കളുള്ള ഒരു കുടുംബത്തിൻറെ പ്രാരാബ്ദങ്ങളെ കുറിച്ച്, അറിഞ്ഞ് ഞാനും ഭാര്യയും അവരുടെ ഭവനത്തിൽ ചെന്നു. തീരെ ചെറിയ ശുഷ്കിച്ച ഒരു വീട് ആയിരുന്നു. ഏറ്റവും ഇളയ കുട്ടിക്ക് 5 വയസ്സും മൂത്ത കുട്ടിക്ക് 16 ്് വയസ്സും. അവർക്ക് രണ്ടു പേർക്കും തൊഴിൽ ഇല്ല. ഭർത്താവ് രോഗിയും, തൊഴിൽ ചെയ്യാൻ പറ്റാത്ത അവസ്ഥയും. ഇടയ്ക്ക് ലോട്ടറി വില്പനയ്ക്ക് പോകും. ഭാര്യ സഹായങ്ങൾക്ക് വേണ്ടി പല വാതിലുകളും മുട്ടാൻ പോകും. ഇത്രയും മക്കളെ പ്രസവിച്ചതിന് പഞ്ചായത്ത് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർ, അവരെ പരിഹസിക്കുകയും, ജീവിക്കാൻ മാർഗ്ഗം ഇല്ലെങ്കിൽ പ്രസവിക്കാൻ പോകരുത് എന്ന് പറയുകയും ചെയ്തു. അവരെ സാമ്പത്തികമായി സഹായിക്കുകയും. വിദേശത്ത് ഈ കാര്യങ്ങൾ അറിയിച്ചു ചെറിയ സഹായങ്ങൾ എൻറെ ഗൾഫിലുള്ള സുഹൃത്ത് വഴി ചെയ്തുകൊടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. പക്ഷേ എന്നെ ഏറെ വേദനിപ്പിച്ച കാര്യം, സഭയിൽനിന്ന്, അവരുടെ ഇടവകയിൽ നിന്ന് കാര്യമായ ഒരു സഹായമോ പ്രോത്സാഹനമോ ലഭിച്ചില്ല. അവരുടെ ഇടവക സ്കൂളിൽനിന്ന് ചെറിയ ഫീസ് ഇളവ് മാത്രമാണ് നൽകിയത്. റേഷനരി മാത്രമായിരുന്നു അവരുടെ ആശ്രയം. മാത്രവുമല്ല, ഇടവകയിൽ നിന്നും അവരുടെ പൊതുസമൂഹത്തിൽ നിന്നും അവർക്ക് ഏൽക്കേണ്ടിവന്ന കളിയാക്കലുകളും, നിന്നകളും ഈ പത്തു കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളുടെയും മാനസിക ആരോഗ്യത്തെ വരെ അത് ബാധിച്ചു. അപകർഷതാബോധം അവരെ വല്ലാതെ വരിഞ്ഞുമുറുക്കി. ഈ കുടുംബത്തിൻറെ അനുദിന ജീവിതത്തിന് വേണ്ടി സഭയുടെ പല വാതിലുകളിലും അവർക്ക് പോയി നിൽക്കേണ്ടി വന്നു. ഇതാണ് 10 മക്കളും, ഭാര്യയും ഭർത്താവും അടക്കം 12 അംഗ കുടുംബത്തിന് സഭയിൽ നിന്ന് ലഭിച്ചത്. ഈ വിഷമങ്ങൾ എല്ലാം അവർ വിങ്ങിപ്പൊട്ടി കൊണ്ട് ഞങ്ങളോട് പറഞ്ഞു. ഇന്നാ ആ കുടുംബത്തിൽ അഞ്ചുകുട്ടികൾ ദൈവവിളി സ്വീകരിച്ച് സെമിനാരിയിലും, മഠങ്ങളിലും പഠിക്കുന്നു. ഇനി പരമദയനീയമായ ഒരു കാര്യം പറയട്ടെ. ഈ കുടുംബത്തിൻറെ ദയനീയാവസ്ഥ അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടും, ദൈവ വിളിക്ക് പോയ മക്കളുടെ, അവിടുത്തെ പഠന ആവശ്യങ്ങൾക്കുവേണ്ടി പോലും, ഈ സഭാ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന്, ഇവരെ ഞെക്കിപ്പിഴിഞ്ഞു എന്നതാണ് യാഥാർത്ഥ്യം. ഇതിന് ഏതു സഭാനേതൃത്വം മറുപടി പറയും.
ഞാൻ മറ്റൊരു സംഭവം പറയാം ഒരു ദരിദ്ര ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ കുടുംബം 3 കുട്ടികൾ, 2.5 സെൻ്റ സ്ഥലത്ത് ചെറിയ ഒരു വീട് കുടുംബനാഥന് അസുഖം കാരണം അധികം അധ്യാന മുള്ള ജോലികൾ ചെയ്യാൻ പറ്റില്ല. അതു കൊണ്ട് മിക്കവാറും പണി ഇല്ലാത്ത അവസ്ഥ. മൂത്ത മകൻ പണിക്കു പോകുന്നത് കൊണ്ട് കുടുംബം കഴിഞ്ഞു പോകുന്നു. രണ്ടാമത്തെ മകൻ സെമിനാരി വിദ്യാർത്ഥി മൂന്നാമത്തെ മകൾ, സാമ്പത്തിക ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടോടെ ആണെങ്കില്ലും മകളെ കല്യാണം കഴിപ്പിച്ചു അയച്ചു. അതു കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോഴാണ് സെമിനാരിക്കാരൻ്റെ തിരുപ്പട്ടസ്വീകരണം വരുന്നത്. ഈ പാവപ്പെട്ട മാതാപിതാക്കൾക്ക് തനിയെ എല്ലാ ചെലവുകളും നടത്താൻ ഒരു വിധത്തില്ലും സാധിക്കാത്ത സാഹചര്യം അവർ വികാരിയച്ഛനെ കണ്ടു തങ്ങളുടെ സാഹചര്യം വിവരിച്ചു. അപ്പോൾ അച്ഛൻ ചോദിക്കുകയാണ് നിങ്ങൾ ഈ മകനു വേണ്ടി ഒന്നും സമ്പാദിച്ചു വച്ചില്ലേ എന്ന്. ? ? ഇതാണ് നമ്മുടെ സഭാ നേതൃത്വം. (ഇത്തരം ഒരു സാഹചര്യത്തില്ലും ഈ മകൻ വൈദികനാകുന്നത് സഭക്കു വേണ്ടി അല്ലേ അപ്പോൾ അന്നന്നത്തെ അഷ്ട്ടിക്ക് ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുന്ന കുടുംബങ്ങളിലെ വൈദിക വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളുടെയോ അവരുടെ തിരുപ്പട്ട സ്വീകരണത്തിൻ്റെ കാര്യത്തില്ലോ സഭയോ ഇടവകയോ എല്ലാ ചെലവും വഹിക്കണമെന്നാണ് എൻ്റെ അഭിപ്രായം)

I have few points in this debate. 1. All population statistics linear trend cannot be considered true for 2050 future trend projections unless it is based on family to family ratio. (Fertile couple to children ratio). 2. Christian couple to children ratio dwindled historically. Below 2 now. 3. It eliminates confusions by child death rate, average age, migration etc. Summary here is, old age population increases to fertile population. 4. After 20 years there will surely be drastic reduction in population than gradual decreasing trend. 5. This is against the idea of uplifted cultural Kerala. Reason: The community’s contribution to education, health sectors is massive and hence needs sustainable dedicated resources and professionals to run effectively. Else those institutions will die out in missionary zeal, a non-ideal scenario in 20 years time. 6. All church supported socio-cultural institutions will stop functioning and it is not ideal for Gods own country in larger interest. 7. Faith has become experiential rather than proclamation. 8. Traditional Christian factors got eliminated from Agriculture(Look no new Muricken), banking, plantations, innovation, etc...this cancels vibrancy of Kerala.

Blind imitation of American and European life style among youngsters and hesitance to enter into family life affected the population growth. Though finance is a factor, it is not the main reason. Single life policy late marriage and high rate of divorce etc., has escalated. It is another reason. Lack of biblical knowledge and parents' irresponsibility or inability to guide or control children resulted in failures of family life. Let the churches take initiative to bring the younger generation back to faith in God and obedience respect to parents.
