Ingredients: (Makes 20-22)
Wheat flour - 1½ cup
Banana - 1
Milk / Coconut milk - ¼ cup
Jaggery - 70g
Rava / Semolina - 1½ tsp (Unroasted)
Salt
Steps:
Add banana, jaggery and milk to a mixie jar and grind into a smooth paste.
Mix wheat flour, rava and salt.
Add the banana paste in batches and mix well to make a smooth dough.
The dough should be of the consistency of the roti dough.
Cover and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Take a portion of the dough and roll it out.
To avoid sticking, dust with some flour.
Roll it out as thin discs.
Press a round lid on to the rolled out dough and cut small circles out of it.
Heat oil in a pan for deep frying.
On high heat, drop the sheets into the hot oil and wait for it to puff up.
Flip and cook on both sides on high heat till they turn golden.
