Many viewers had asked me about the life in Germany and why I chose to stay here. This video explores this topic in the wake of recent incidents in Kerala
Thanks for sharing your experience❤! You mentioned someone who returned to India but struggled with job security in the private sector. What do you think is a solution for people like him? Is aiming for a 9-5 government job the only realistic option for stability?
Hi Anu, I mentioned about the working conditions and how secure the working environment is, not job security. I think the person I mentioned has a lot of options, for instance academia. One can also look for opportunities abroad. In India, public sector is another option. Also there might be other companies with better working environments. It might be difficult to find them but there should be at least a few.
I agree with your views about Indian companies and their culture. I've worked in Indian IT companies for almost 20 years, slogging for different companies. I eventually got an offer from a German company and moved to Germany. I've been living in Munich for the past 1.5 years, and my wife also got a job in an IT company here. For the first time, we're enjoying a proper work-life balance. We often ask each other, 'നമുക്കെന്താ ഈ ബുദ്ധി നേരത്തെ തോന്നാത്തത്?' But as Vijayan has said - 'എല്ലാത്തിനും അതിന്റെതായ സമയമുണ്ട് മോനേ...'"
I work in a French company in India for past 15 yrs. Dint think of even changing the company becoz of its work life balance. Most companies think India as cheap software destination only.
Work life balance , no fire policy in companies , importance to family , Health . Germans speak direct , no sugar coated words . Shops are closed on Sundays and hence more time for family . Germans are serious people & love rules and stick to it .They are very punctual. Even 2 min late train is very late for them . Neighbors dont disturb others with Loud noise . Almost 45% tax . Except bread & beer everything is expensive. Food is not so great . Cold Weather .
It depends on the earnings. We can expect to get a job very easily here without knowing German. Even then we can't guarantee the salary when we are starting out here.

Yes, a high end laptop is needed to perform complex ML tasks but I would say if you have a solid foundation in ML, try for internship opportunities in companies
I believe you said it well. most of the companies think it this way. I worked hard for around 12 years in a company and I faced this type of situation many times. This situation creates mental stress. Last year I resigned from my job, and after that, I planned to go to a European country with my family. Now I am satisfied. Nice Video👌👌
Sis, your video is a conviction for me to my rejection of my recent offer... So called start up.... During the interview rounds, i got the intuition of the work culture, and I ended up saying No... Listening to your video I feel ok.. Thank you.
Not all start ups are bad. You can learn a lot when you work in a start up, however you have to work really hard in most such companies because it's a stage where the company is growing. Some people opt to work in startups for the learning experience and incentives. It totally depends on what you want. Anyway good luck!!
