They are fully involved and they make sure that they are the show cased well in the movies. In America their are agents to represent these actors and question the directors and producers screen time and everything is written on contract. Here all he did was ask them and they get offended. Shane is the selling point of the movie. Youth all come to see him so he has the right to make sure he is shown well in the movie. The director was close to Peppe so it is natural for the director to show case Peppe in a better light. Shane’s mother is like a agent for Shane. She gets very involved, I don’t really agree with that because that is the reason he is not respected because his mom is doing most of the talking.
