@@josephjkottukappally Thar's only single advantage over the Jimny is it's so called "Road presence" which is good if the sole idea of owning an SUV is bullying other road users off the road. Jimny is far superior on everything else and way above the Thar. Heck the older version Jimny( also known as Gypsy/Samurai) still has the unbeaten record of being the vehicle that's ever reached the highest altitude on the planet on top the Andes Mountain till date at 21,942 feet.(2007 unbeaten till date record). And guess what, on the way up they passed a sign left by the previous record holders that said, "Jeep Parking Only, others can't make it up here anyway!" They brought back that sign down as a souvenir after going higher and beating the Jeep's(Not a Thar mind you) record ! Just wait and watch what professionals and enthusiasts are going to do with the Jimny. Don't just buy the ill informed reviews of noob youtubers posing as auto experts. Most of them can't even change a flat tyre.

When compared that price at the time of launch jimny is overpriced still.

When coming to your 4 to 5lakhs. Yeah it will cost more cuz they offer turbocharged engine's more performance. In 5door they also gonna offer sunroof. Then definitely everyone ready to pay. Don't get me wrong even i booked one jimny for myself I'm not here to hate. I'm just saying it's overpriced not just me. Even you can ask many. Most people cancelled their booking cuz of the shocking price. Top model 13 to 14 is fine not 18. Mahindra feels the extra amount. But definitely not this one. My alpha at jimny is somewhere 17.50 they need 1lakh for dual tone in my case it's already over priced 1 lakh for dual tone is too much.

Photoyil kanunna lookkeyullu..... Pidukku vandi..... It is too small for an off-roader. I didn't like it. Seating doesn't feel like an off-roader. It is not a competition for Thar etall.....
Overpriced matchbox, at lesser price we are getting such cars as grant vittara,toyota hyrider, thar 2wd,hundai creta,then wich fool is going to by this car.
