എനിക്ക് ഒരു സംശയം . ഹരി ഹര സുതൻ അയ്യപ്പൻ ആണെന്ന് രാഹുൽ പറയുന്നു. ഹരിയും ഹരനും സംഗമിച്ചത് ഏതു കാലഘട്ടത്തിൽ ആണ്. ? ശിവനും വിഷ്ണുവും ഒക്കെ സംഗമിച്ചിരുന്ന കാലഘട്ടം ആണെങ്കിൽ പതിനായിരക്കണക്കിന് വർഷം മുൻപ് ആയിരിക്കണം. അപ്പോൾ പതിനായിരക്കണക്കിന് വർഷം മുൻപ് ജനിച്ച ഹരിഹര സുതൻ എങ്ങനെ 1400 വർഷം മുൻപ് ഉണ്ടായ ഇസ്ലാം മതത്തിൽ പെട്ട വാവരുമായി ചങ്ങാത്തത്തിൽ ആയി ??

I think that it was Rahul Eswar who told that Ayyappan is the 'avatar' of Sashta. What I have understood is that only the prime Gods that is Brahma ,Vishnu and Maheswara can have 'avatars'. It is only Vishnu had done it. Sri Raman is an avatar of Vishnu. Sri Krishna is an avatar of Vishnu and not of Krishna. So Ayyappa cannot be an avatar of Sastha. Sastha and Ayyappa are all purely Dravidian gods. I do not think that there is any mention of them in old Puranas which were written in Sanskrit. Puranas themselves are all tales but which had been in existence from a very long time. They are all like the 'Mustard Mitthayi' of my younger days. It used to be the size of a 'kunnikkuru' inside there will be a small seed the size of a mustard and over dried sugar coloured with different colurs. So those stories may have some small truth which has been encased in a sweet outer shell. Ayyappan is purely a Kerala affair. In all probability, it should have been a tribal deity, and the forest belonged to the Panthalam royal family. The royal family built a small;; shrine there with puja performed annually. And that with years acquired more and more popularity and came to this stage. And to take some film song as the basis for its greatness is going too far. (muruganunni, shivanunni etc.) And this concept of a god being Naishtika Brahmachari is idiotic. How God Almighty be swayed by the sight of young women? If he does, then he is definitely not a God at all.

But the Hindu community should have, on its own, allowed women entry into Sabarimala much earlier. Mr Sandeep, It is good to know that you are preaching Bhagwad Gita and running an institution for the same. The same Krishnan who advised Arjuna in Bhagwad Gita to take up arms and fight and fulfill his duty as a kshatriya went running away from Dwaraka when there was a mighty attacker against Dwaraka. That does not mean that the message that a kshatriya must pick up arms and fight is baseless. The one peaching kshatriya dharma need not be a fearless kshatriya. We also know that Krishna could not rectify his own son Samba who used to disguise as Krishna and go to the wives of his father and dishonour them. Krishna had to curse Samba. A person who could not rectify his own son preaching kshatriya dharma to Arjuna does not mean that those who want to follow his advice cannot follow it either. You are making a livelihood on preaching Bhagwad Gita which contains kshatriya dharma which was preached by Krishna who ran away from Dwaraka and who could not rectify his son Samba. Likewise there are others in Kerala who run their livelihood by worshiping devatas in idol form. You need to know that not every temple is run like a masjid or a church with a single controlling faith. The temples in Bharath desh belong to different faiths You cannot call it as a single Hindu (saffron) faith and stereotype every temple. For example one temple can worship Krishna as a polygamous lover and sing songs of love for Krishna by smoking marijuana and another temple can worship Krishna as someone who taught the kshatriya dharma in Bhagwad Gita and used the same Krishna as inspiration for celibacy. Is this a contrast? If you look at the character Krishna as portrayed in the Mahabharatha then you can call it as contrast. But if you look at the sentiments of the founding devotees and priests of the two temples then you will understand that the temple deity is not based solely on the books that you keep showing at every TV show and that devotees pick up the quality of a person at some given time and can hype those qualities and thus establish their temple. You will also find people reverring the image of Unnikrishnan (baby Krishna) because they prefer to be with the innocence of a child stage Krishna and not the image of the polygamous lover Krishna. You have been holding a book written by Kanipayoor for quite a long time and quoting from it ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1b5EpFb2-A4.html ) and constantly trying to prove that a temple in Kottayam should be run the way you want it to be run. Your argument is that Sastha is a family man as seen in the hymns compiled by Kanipayoor and has children and Sastha and Ayyappa are the same and hence Sastha is not a celibate. Let us take your argument in face value for the time being that Sastha is a family man and not a celibate. Now you need to close your book of Kanipayoor for a while and look at the formation of the temple. Like we know every temple custom is found based on the belief of the devotees at that time of formation and the religiosity can be maintained only as long as the customs are maintained in its pristine form and not changed to suit the beliefs of saffron clad communists like you unless the customs are affecting public life and order. Even if Sastha has multiple wives as per the books you carry to every panel discussion to promote your communist agenda a temple that is following a tradition of men following austerities for 41 days where celibacy is part of it can still continue their tradition without interference from communists like you who masquerade in saffron dress. You need to know that books are not everything when it comes to reverring the characters found in books. You may know about women writing "sri rama jayam" countless times in note books so that they will get a perfect husband like Rama but if a saffron wearing communist like you checks Ramayana he will find that Rama doubted his wife during the days Ravana had abducted her and that Rama had made his wife to go through an agnipareeksha to prove her chastity. If Rama was that helpless that he could not even know from his jnanadrishti whether Sita was pure or not then a question will come to the minds of saffron clad communists like you as to how he can help women who write "sri rama jayam" countless times in a note book and bless them with a good husband. This is where you need to understand that what is seen in the books are different and what is believed is based on the culture of the localized majority. Hence Mr. Sandeep, kindly put away the books you carry because the more you keep vomitting what you read in the books the more you are displaying your ignorance of the beliefs of the localized majority which is the basis of customs in each temple. If you or your lady communist friends want to worship Ayyappa there are many temples across Kerala where devotees of both sexes can go straight without following 41 day austerities and worship the deity of those temples and come. What is quite intriguing is why you and your lady communist friends need to interfere in a temple located in some remove part of Kerala where you need to walk through uneven hilly terrain for more than one hour just to prove that you are a social reformer. Temples are not public place Mr. Sandeep. You can conduct a public meeting and bring out the fallacies of worshiping Rama or Ayyappa. If you get time you can also bring out the fallacies of the character of Krishna who could not rectify the lust of his own son Samba and yet gives advice to Arjuna. But while you do so let the celibates of Sabarimala mind their own business without the interference of saffron clad communists like you trying to bring in your lady communist friends in the name of worship. If you don't believe in the customs of a temple in Kottayam then you just have to avoid that place and also ask your communist lady friends to avoid that place. Darshan of a deity is for those who believe in the localized deity and not for those who don't subscribe to its customs. You also keep saying that Sastha and Ayyappa are the same. This is like saying Vishna and Rama are the same. As per belief Ayyappa is avatar of Sastha just like Rama is avatar of Vishnu. These are beliefs and not something that can be proved rationally so stop rummaging among your books to disprove this. Vishnu sleeps on a bed of snake whereas Rama is not found to be doing so. So to say Sastha has many wives and Ayyappa is the same and thus conclude that Ayyappa also has many wives amounts to displaying your utter foolishness for the sake of blindly spreading your pseudo communist agenda under saffron disguise. Even if your pseudo communist mind has made you believe that Ayyappa has multiple wives so be it. That does not change the beliefs and customs of the deity of Sabarimala which is the individual legal entity of the imaginations and beliefs of the devotees and priests who created it. So kindly keep away from interfering in the tradition of that temple. If you are keen that goodness should spread then kindly ask your communist lady friends who spent lakhs of rupees on filing case in the Honourable Court to use the lakhs of rupees that they received from so-far-unknown sources to donate it for forming a trust and carrying out rehabilitation in Kerala for the people affected by the flood (caused by utter carelessness of the communist party politicians who run the Kerala government) because the present communist government is more keen on asking enormously hyped amounts from the central government and using tax payer's money to send its minister to every known country in the world asking for money for rehabilitation and are less keen on doing anything productive for rehabilitation for the affected victims of Kerala. Your meddling in the tradition of a localized temple with a bunch of books showing scant ignorance for beliefs which need not be in line with those books will not fetch you as much goodness as much as you can earn by doing something good from the money of your communist lady friends for the victims of the floods of Kerala. - with best regards from a communist and non devotee of Sabarimala who doesn't believe in Sastha or Ayyappa and hence doesn't want to enter that place.

Western ghats is rich in minerals, platinum, granite and many natural resources. when you make Western ghats open to women automatically Sabarimala will expand like a tourist destination. now only men go to shabarimala, but when women are allowed they go in families. so many lodges and other tourist destinations would open. also forests will be destroyed and large 8 lane roads would be laid through the forests. so in the future Western ghats will lose all its reserve forests and all the corporates like Adani, Ambani and Vedanta would openly start quarrying the western ghats looting all the natural resources. that is the reason for the vizhingam port setup and central government had lot of interest on it. so going forward be it Congress or BJP in power these corporates would bribe the government and loot natural resources. in the future if natural resources are looted, it would lead to lot of natural calamities like flooding, earth quake, erosion etc., Already government have implemented plans to lay huge 8 lane roads across western ghats to transport minerals as a part of BHARAT MALA scheme. this is a collective plan by all central parties to loot western ghat natural resources.
