There is no practical technology so far to remove dust from the panels; a lot of research is undergoing in this direction. If we find a way, it will be a huge breakthrough, and it will revolutionize energy production. Not just Sahara many other deserts have similar potential, Saudi's empty quarter is another example.

The current technology used in Morocco to generate electricity from Solar energy is not using the traditional solar panels. It is a solar power concentrator using parabolic mirrors to concentrate the energy to a central tower where the high heat energy is used to power up a steam turbine to make clean electricity. As Alex said Implementation, Maintenance & transmission cost is huge. A well coordinated effort is needed from all countries to make this dream come true.
India for some strange reason is not pushing for concentrated solar power like you mentioned , instead they are promoting solar power plants based on solar panel🤷

Theoretically you are right. But, the sandy storms in any desert will be the villain here also. You should also know that the sand dunes keep changing and the solar panels will covered by the sand dunes. In the long run, such projects will fail. But this will work if installation is done in desert-like mountains of Oman, Saudi Arabia, Sharjah as and such similar places. But economics won't make it a feasible project; instead more economical power generation projects are possible. The lesson to be learnt is that if we go for anything that interrupts the nature, repercussions will be there. So, it is not as easy as it is said.

U missed few very important points, rise in temperature will affect the output of solar panels. Normal output of solar panels are calculated at 25 degree C. As the temperature inside deserts are far higher than this, potential output will be very low. sand always has movement in desert. So building structure will be too expensive and cleaning of panels too is difficult and added expense. If dust is accumulated over panel then output drastically goes down. If it was easy like you explained all the gulf countries could have fully moved to solar energy now. Better do a little more research when sharing informations like this.
