ලංකාවෙ සංචාරක කර්මාන්තයක් නොමැත. ඇත්තේ ⁣හෝටල් කර්මාන්තයක් පමනි. හෝටල් කාමර විවිධාකාර ක්රමවෙිද වලින් මාකටි කිරීම පළමු පියවර වන අතර, ⁣එයාර්පෝටි එකේ සිට හෝටලයට එන සුද්දා , එහෙ මෙහෙ දක්කා නැවත එයාපෝටි එකෙන් චුත කිරීම අතරතුර ඌගේ අංග ජාතය හැර සියල්ල ගලවා සුද්ධ කිරීම ලංකා සංචාරක කර්මාන්තය නමිවෙි.

මම යෝජනා කරනවා විදේශිකයන්ට වෙන අකරතැබ්බ නතර කරන්න නව නීති සම්පාදනය කරන්න ඕනි කියලා. උදාහරණයක් විදියට හොරකමකට දඩුවම දඩයක් නම් විදේශිකයෙක්ගෙන් කරන හොරකමකට හිරේ දාන්න ඕනි. ලිංගික හිංසනයට අවුරුදු 15ක් විතර හිරේ දාන්න ඕනි. ත්‍රීවිල් ගත්තම මීටර් නැති ත්‍රීවිල් වලට විදේශිකයන් ප්‍රවාහණය කිරීම තහනම් කරන්න ඕනි. එහෙම අහු උනොත් ඒ අයගේ ත්‍රීවිල් බලපත්‍රය/ ලයිසන් එක කැන්සල් කරන්න ඕනි. අපි එහෙම තැනකට යන්නේ නැත්තන් තව අවුරුදු 3-4කින් ඇඩ් නෙවේ, ටිකට් නැතුව ෆ්‍රී එන්න දුන්නත් සුද්දෙක් මේකට එන්නේ නැතිවෙයි.

Last year I came to visit my family back in Sri Lanka with my husband who’s English. If I specifically say about sigiriya experience that was a horror. My ticket was around Rs.150 and my husband’s Rs.7500. 50 times like mine. Let’s say that’s fine even though it wasn’t. Then the bigger struggle was to enjoy what we paid for. Many men come around and forced us to have a tour guide. I said I’m Sri Lankan in Sinhala and we don’t want a guide. They were blaming me so badly saying bad words even. We didn’t really enjoy our tour to sigiriya at all, because of these uncivilised guides. We felt so intimidated. We were really worried about our belongings and personal safety. I even spoke in Sinhala and try to explain that they shouldn’t do this that my husband will never tell a good word of Sri Lanka when he get back. Our whole experience in Sri Lanka was a great disappointment and as I guessed my husband doesn’t like to visit back, unfortunately.

Recently one of the Irish family whose wife I got to know through from the funding agency which funds my PhD project travelling to SL. She contacted to me to get to know about the things about SL. I helped her to arrange transportation and gave some clues about SL. They are travelling 01-04 to 16-04. මන් මේ ඇගේ ලේ ටික නැතුව ඉන්නේ ඒ මිනිස්සු ගිය විදිහට ආපහු එනකන්. ඇදිවත සහ අරන් ගිය දේවල් එක්ක ආපහු එනකම්. Before they go they were so excited and talking lot about SL experience of other fellow travellers they knew. So far they are talking positively. I already told the truth to them without exaggerating , told all negative facts including behavior of 3 wheel drivers. Hope everything will be fine and they will be safe.

Do you guys know how 🇮🇳 promote their tourism??? They promote people's suffering. I have personally met Aussis who tour 🇮🇳 to experience that.... This will be a good concept for 🇱🇰 .
