You are one of the forefront educators maintaining a channel to equip our people with very important and deep subject matters in a way that will address to the heart and brain of viewers. This may be somewhat strange phenomena in a time when our most of the intellectuals tend to give more focus on accumulating wealth for themselves even betraying their leadership to their society.I am proud of you sir.
You sent me back to my Zurich days in the 1980s through your epistemological probe into Einstein's Law of Relativity and Hans Much's influence behind it, which all pivot on the Buddha's teaching of Dependent Arising. In the 1980s I got disillusioned with most things that used to happen in Sri Lanka in the name of Buddhism in my exposure to the dialogue I was engaged in with my Swiss-German friends. Yet I kept quiet as I found no person to share my views with. I was fascinated by your presentation as a compatriot on the same wavelength as me. I wish you more and more energy to go ahead with your effort to recover the people from the institutionalized form of Buddhism, which threatens the spiritual progress of the individual and turns him/her into a slave of a monastic aristocracy. Good luck! (Please pronounce "Hans Much" in German to ensure accuracy.)
@@mahindapathirana Dear Dr Mahinda, we have been friends and colleagues for over two decades and I believe that gestures of moral support will boost the productivity of humans. You opened a discussion of a challenging topic that is timely as we are entangled in a mess about our identity as Sinhala Buddhists. I hope many will draw inspiration from you. Good luck!
your video clip helps to understand how close Buddhism is to science and Buddhism has been helpful for relativistic theory. Buddhism is one of the best philosophy in the world. unfortunately what Buddhists in sri lanka doing today? has there been a scholarly discussion between them about Buddhism - specifically among Buddhist monks?of course not. they have become slaves of politicians. unfortunate extent
