There is no place to repair and buy the parts if anything happens, accidents, or mechanical or electrical failures. It is a huge risk. It is not rocket science to bring cars to Sri Lanka. You can do it alone if you study the process. Think about the accident / mechanical or electrical failure. Who can repair it? And again, it is not tax-free. You have to pay regular vehicle taxes.

I was planning to start a vehicle sale for Europe cars to start as a small business and built the place for it and now I ended up turn it in to a restaurant ..coz of this situation people don't wanna invest money in to businesses and you can't see a green light ..

How is this guy helping the country by bringing in dollars or exporting products for the benefit of the country ? There are blackouts in the country for power and electricity and people are trying to bring more electric cars. Banana republic. Why would I send $ to Sri Lanka to buy an electric car ?
