Welcome to my second IRCC updates on the International student visa video.
I am a Sri Lankan student living in Ontario, Canada. In the meantime, as my hobby, I considered bringing my life experiences with my husband as Sinhala Vlogs in Canada.
From this video, I try to inform you of the revised international student visa requirements for 2024.
• International cap for two years for international students.
• Open Work Permit for spouses
• Post Graduate work permit changes

My son applied visa for a MSC and he faced biometrics on february 2nd still didnt get the visa why this delay so much

Hello.. Thanks for the comment. As they said, Ircc backlog is too high. It may be the reason. Lot of students are waiting for their design. Hopefully you will get it soon.

For a person who has started his post graduate 1 year program in 2024 January will he be eligible for a 1 year PGWP?

Hello.. As I know if you are already in Canada under study permit, the new rule will not affect you. PGWP rule will be implemented after September 2024. www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/news/2024/01/canada-to-stabilize-growth-and-decrease-number-of-new-international-student-permits-issued-to-approximately-360000-for-2024.html Thank you for the comment. ❤️❤️

Hi. I have submit my study permit application through an agent. They did attached my educational certificates and transcripts along with my LOA and then uploaded to portal. Same time they attached my birth certificate,parents birth certificate and marriage certificate along with family information form(imm5645). Is that the correct way? Or those documents should be attach under client info ?

Hello. sorry for the late reply. As I know LOA and IMM 5645 must be uploaded separately. other important documents such as your transcripts, certificates must be uploaded under client info. Hope this answer will help you. Thank you ❤️❤️

I already submit my study permit application on 04th January 2024, it's a 4 year bachelor degree program. Does the ircc new rules can create an impact in my application? ( Student cap of 35%). Or those new rules only applicable for who has submit their application on or after 22nd January 2024? Please share your opinion

Hello.. According to IRCC updates, it might not be a problem if you submitted the study permit before this date. Hope everything will be fine.
