බුදු මග යන ඔබ දැනගත යුතුම බණ|දේශක විශ්ව බන්ඳු මහේෂ් බෝධකොටුව 

මහා සාරිපුත්ත මහරහතන් වහන්සේ සහ මහා කොට්ටිත මහරහතන් වහන්සේ අතර පැවති සාකච්ඡාවක් අතුරින් බණ ඇසුවා නම් ඔබ කුමක් කළ යුතුද යන්න සාකච්ඡා කිරීම බණ ඇහුවා නම් ඔබ භාවනා කළ යුතුයි එහෙනම් භාවනාවට කලින් ඔබ ඇසිය යුතු බණ කුමක්ද? ලොව්තුරා අමාමෑණි බුදුපියාණන් වහන්සේගේ මාර්ගයේ යන ඕනම කෙනෙකු විසින් ඇසිය යුතුම බණක් මහා සාරිපුත්ත මහරහතන් වහන්සේ කොට්ටිත මහ රහතන් වහන්සේට විග්‍රහ කරයි. ඔබ කුමන බණ ඇහුවත් ජාතක කතා ඇහුවත් අතීත කතා ඇහුවත් විමානවත්තු ප්‍රේතවත්තු මේ කුමන මූලාශ්‍රයකින් බණ ඇහුවත් ඔබ පංච උපාදානස්කන්ධයේ අනිත්‍ය දුක්ඛ අනාත්ම වශයෙන් දකින්නට අසා නොමැතිනම් එය බණක් නොවේ මෙය භාග්‍යවතුන් වහන්සේගේ වචනයකි. එනම් අප සියලු දෙනාම මේ සසර කෙළවර කරන මාර්ගයේ ආරම්භය සඳහා පංච උපාදානස්කන්ධය අනිත්‍ය දුක්ඛ අනාත්ම වශයෙන් දැකිය යුතුයි. එවිට ඔබට ධර්මය අවබෝධ වේ
