How to teach our children moral values
1. Follow what you preach. In order to teach your children moral values, you must model them in real life.
2. Reward good behavior. Praise his / her good qualities with others. It will motivate him/ her to continue them.
3. Tell your child through stories how hardly you have achieved your goals in your life. Share your experiences with them. Let them learn from your experience.
4. Use magic words with them. If you want your child to do the same, thank him / her when he / she helps you.
5. Give them the opportunities to read story books that teach moral values.
6. Let your child to associate your religious leaders. Help your child to shape up his / her attitude based on what your religion teaches. Send them to Dhamma School regularly.
7. Respect and kindly look after for your old parents. This will bring the same back to you.
