If you are just bringing something built in another country and putting a label and selling in Sri Lanka - please do not do it. This is not how TATA and Mahindra did in India. Please support the VEGA electric three wheeler, which is designed and built in Sri Lanka. The amount of Engineering they did is great. That is the way to go. May be these companies can get the parts from Vega and add value to it by building other products with the Vega underpins and then branching out and building it fully. Otherwise what you are doing is doing the dirty work for foreign companies to undermine Vega. Just remember this. When Mitsubishi colt, Upali Mazda was being assembled in Sri Lanka in 1970, Hyundai was also assembling the Hillman Hunter in Korea. Where is Huyndai Today and where is United Motors and Uplai today. Both are just like prostitutes for foreign companies while Hyundai is a national treasure to South Korea. Difference is the vision and the determination industrialize ones own country!!!
