ඔය visa එකට කලා වගේම documents set එකක් යනකොටත් අරන් යන්න . කොච්චර visa eka වැදිලා තිබුන උනත් . ඒ රටට ඇතුල්වෙන අන්තිම තැනේදිත් visa interview එකකවත් නැති ප්‍රශ්න අහන්නෙ හරියට අපි visa එකක් නැතුව ඇවිත් වගේ. Canada යනකොට එහෙම අත්දැකීමක් ලැබුණා. හොද වෙලාවට එයලට පෙන්නන්න proof තිබුනා .

Your motivation is simply great when Schengen visa did not work out initially. I too went through this here in SL. Our passports get beggar's treatment. Our second visit to Schemgan territory was completely different. The embassy said to apply again and visit a 3rd time. It takes time to establish our identity. Wish you & hubby safe journey

OMG this reminds me my euro trip and visa nightmare with my Sri Lankan passport. In 2017, I made a three month trip to the UK, Ireland and Europe... I had to get 3 different types of visas... I agree the UK visa was so easy, and as soon I got the UK visa, I got the Ireland one easily as well.... Schengen was an absolute nightmare. I was gonna apply to Italy as I was planning to spend most time in Italy, and my original plan was to spend 3 months in Schengen and 2 Months in the UK and Ireland. So when I gathered all my documents and went to the Italian consulate, the lady at the counter did not even accept my application because she needed the proof of travel in between countries. I was so mad, cause the next available appointment to the Italian consulate was only after my departure to the UK. So I rearranged my documents to match a 30 day period in the Schengen and decided to apply to France, which is my first point of entry to the Schengen. Then there was no French consulate/ embassy in Melbourne and their visas were handled by the Greek Consulate. Even though I applied for a 30 day stay I had planned to spend 3 months... I was only 21 and was backpacking hitchhiking, and couch surfing and had not booked anything that is why I got temporary flight tickets and hotel reservations only for the visas. Usually they give full 3-month visa even though you apply for a few days, but after all that Greek Embassy only gave me a 30-day visa... :( I was so sad..... but anyway this allowed me to travel in the UK more and went to all these crazy places in the UK that I had never planned to go to.... and in my remaining time, I decided to spend about another 3 months in the Asia in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia so it was alright after all. Returned back to Melbourne after 6 months of travel and never wanted to apply for a multi-visas.... just went on single trips for each uni holidays in the Asia....I had the Aussie passport since 2020, funny thing, I went to 28 countries with a Lankan passport and only like 3 countries with the Aussie passport lol.

Good luck with your trip. Just let you know what you mentioned about Heathrow Airport. Please don't trust what you have heard. Sometimes, these types of bogus rumours are spread by people who have never visited Heathrow ever. You can get lose your baggages anywhere in the world . Mainly this can be happened when you are having a transit, because sometimes your baggages can get loaded to a different flight. But your baggages will get back to you in few days. Im living in the UK for very long time and this is the first time i hear about baggage loss. But be very careful when you are in any other European country because pick pocketing is so common. I even lost my hand bag and backpack inside the hotel in Switzerland. I am not trying to scare you, but anywhere you travel in the world be very cautious of the places, people around you and your belongings. All the best and have a lovely time. God bless you.

Thank you for the video. Can you let me know how many business days they exactly took to process the visa ? Do you know how long it takes to process Schengen visa in Sri Lanka ? We are applying through France. The appointment is on the 30 th May and the flight is on the 9th June. Did you also show your travel insurance when applying for Schengen visa ?
