Truly the unsung hero of Sri Lankan cricket when we won the world cup.....I personally had a pleasure in meeting this great gentleman when he was the CEO of Coca-cola.....a true gentleman.... If Minister Namal Rajapaksha has an interest in bringing the Sri Lankan cricket up from where it is now, he should utilize this gentleman... A great visionary and a very influencing Administrator..... Mr. Ana Punchihewa never went after money or reputation.... This gentleman can still contribute a lot to our cricket and for sports in general. He new very less about cricket but he managed the Sri Lankan cricket efficiently and effectively.... By the way, Chamuditha , you are doing a great job... please keep it up... your way of conducting the interviews are great....

Sri Lanka cricket has been destroyed over the years on many fronts. These fronts can be divided into two. The first is Administrators and the other one is players. Among administrators there is one special ugly name. To be honest with you I am scared to say or wrote his name. Among players there are two popular names. Those are Mahela and Sanga. I would like to quote the following. ”One of the primary reasons why Sri Lanka is doing badly at the moment is because they failed to groom new talents when their stars were in the twilight.” They both didn’t play for the country. They are the most selfish cricket players in Sri Lanka. They didn’t want to see another cricket stars in Sri Lanka. They didn’t help young players in Sri Lanka When they were playing for Sri Lanka. They purposely blocked the path of young players to become stars or even good players. How such selfish players contribute to Sri Lanka cricket in the future. That’s only a joke.
