I was thinking the same. However, identity theft is not prominent in Sri Lanka, it is more critical to large countries with individualistic life styles. However, I wish if they have some fact checkers from different backgrounds and experiences to catch such errors. This is a great start, people do mistakes, the most important part is helping each other to correct mistakes than trying to destroy a good work.
Exactly! It's not mandatory to give our personal details to Facebook or any other platform. Intemently, with the GDPR act any user can request to delete his / her personal information and this is a mandatory feature that all social media platforms should adhere.
