Fine political explanation and forecast. I guess this way of discribing, is based on human psychological factors. Your knowledge of Buddhist Abhidamma may have helped in this detached forecast. Thank you.
India still one of the poorest countries. GDP is high because of few rich individuals. 3% of Indian population owns more than 70% of India's wealth and more than 70% of the population owns only 1% of the wealth. All because Modi's policies. Corruption is rampant and we are100 times better than them for that mater. They produce very few things. And other than IT sector most of the production is assembling. You can not compare China and India. It will take few centuries, India to become like China. I worked there, see it from inside and out side two different looks
You are completely wrong about Mahinda Rajapaksha's policy. Due to his uncotrolled debts policy Sri Lanka faced sivier economic hardships at the end of 2014. GDP does not represent the development of a country for example take Russia it's GDP is only obout 1/8 of US economy. But they were resilient to the western sanctions. Pls don't Sugarcoat Mahinda he is a failure.

@@mahindapathirana I think when you put some of that money toward increase production and sevices due to population growth it will contribute GDP. Also you need to fact in inflation. 100$ GDP in 2010 is equal to 200$ GDP in 2020. Due to inflation.
India still one of the poorest countries as i see it from inside. @@mahindapathirana I worked in India for more than 5 years as a consultant and left India late April, 24. I know what I am talking about. Not only many guys in my office tells me about wealth distribution in India but also Dr. Sashi Throor once said if Adani and Ambani enter to this room our GDP will run in to billions and with Modi's government poor has become poor and rich has become very poor. Due to my work I had the privilege of free travel to most of the part in India. Outskirts of cities and village life extremely difficult and poor. These are my 1st hand information and you are the one who is talking something you really do not know about. Please correct your self. If i have have to write about the life in India this will several pages. I do not want waste my valuable time.
