I honestly think Jeng's character is one of my favorites I've seen in a BL series so far. He's in a high level position of power which stereotypically has been shown on screen in characters that are cold, emotionless, harsh etc. He's NOT those things though. He's warm hearted, smiles, cares a lot and it's just really refreshing to see. I hope Man continues his acting career after this because I'd love to see him in other shows as well.

Chot is once again being an icon. He probably would've kept their secret even if they didn't run😂

In any other BL, we would have been shown a character like Jeng as confident, smooth, perfect and able to wait serenely until Pat is ready to start a relationship with him. Here, we see that someone like Jeng, although powerful and imposing, can also have doubts and a certain shyness that leads him not to be perfect 24/7. It's much more realistic.

Chot is that one friend who never keeps quiet and is all up in your space but you love them so much so you bear it all and hope not to lose your sanity

I'm so glad we finally got to se some of Jengs POV. He's such an interesting man but we rarely knows anything about him. I'm curious about his love life. He's older than Pat so he's probably more experienced. Has he had any longer relationships before? Is he openly gay? Does his family approve (means, will they accept Pat or they'll demand a daughter-in-law)? Things that gives the character more deep. But haven't seen any comments about it before so maybe I'm the only nosey one 😂.

Can I just say that the drink is literally the captain of all bl ships. Like I can't count how many times it has been starred in bl series. 😁 I will trade anything to exchange roles with the drink😋☺️

I love the moodswing of Jeng when read the text from Pat and obviously it's Jeng first date the way he is preparing everything and practing how to order the food and yaa we are hearing his thoughts and it's quite funny but the way he was looking Pat omg my heart is melting.

The way they noticed their hands linked together and Pat let go first 19:17 but the touch lingered and the reaction is very telling of something more between them. That’s why I love them. They give us little details in a way you can feel how something shifts between the two. Just like J-BL series that make us scream with barely nothing between characters, hands holding one another is enough, even a kiss on the cheek. You don’t have to be explicit to show togetherness and romance ^^

“He never looks at me the way I look at him” 2:12 this is sad because sometimes he feels there’s hope, sometimes he might feel there’s something, but then he realizes there’s nothing from Pat, his eyes never look at him back the way he looks at him, his eyes don’t become his mirror looking back at him the exact same way, and his heart breaks a little each time that happens, each time his hopefulness is gone because there’s a simple stare, not the one he wants to receive. I’m glad he can open up to his friend, being vulnerable doesn’t mean he’s weak, he’s actually more stronger than anyone we have seen in this show. I absolutely love how this character has had such a development in a way we can appreciate, as we can go back to older episodes and see the difference in his behavior, even in his demeanor.
