Such a privilege to see the three top world class boxers enjoy time together reminiscent of both the old and the present time, Samard and Kaosai are about same age wise while Somrak is prob. 10 years or so younger, Samard notorious for his good look and Somrak for his fun poking/loving (and a little boasting which he claimed they were all true), they are even closer nowadays (having shows together) than before, Somrak was knocking Kaosai's gym of being more like a nursing home than a gym, and having 2 children at his old age, etc. wishing them health and happiness for a very long time.
It was a reunion of these three great champions who in the old days teamed up to become actors in a TV series together after retirement. They even became singers, had their own album and toured concerts together. During the tour with TV stars and singers, they would come up last on stage and the crowd would wait for their comic entertainment. Most of their shows, Somrak would quarrel against Khao-sai while Samart would be a referee, which was kind of entertaining. Because most of the old timer former champions have been frequenting Samart's gym presently, Somrak was joking it looks like a nursing home rather than a gym. Somrak then shifted to tease Khao-sai about his marriage life which had failed twice before he settled himself with his third with two kids now. Somrak went further to tease Khao-sai that with his oldest child being 8 years old now while Khao-sai is 62, by the time his child becomes 20 Khao-sai would be gone. In Thailand domestic relationship topic could be joked around among close friends, and this is a good example of it. Khao-sai played along by mentioning that his child once asked him to live until a 100, and he said by the time he becomes a 100 he would be playing with his shits. Somrak went further about Khao-sai having no children during his first two marriage, joking that Khao-sai was no macho having produced no offspring during those years. Khao-sai nodded but countered that he eventually became one with two kids now. Khao-sai has opened his old gym on 4 December 2021 around the area where he lives. The area is called Ratchada in Bangkok. His gym is across the Night Bazaar which is around the Ratchada-Ladprao intersection. Somrak again was joking about any customers taking a training course at Khao-sai's gym would get a free happy-massage every ten times of training. Ratchada area is notoriously known for night life entertainment. Samart then jumped in to say that free happy-massage was only available at Khao-sai's old gym program (which was a mere joke) -- his old gym was also around Ratchada area -- just behind Poseidon -- one of the most expensive happy massage parlors in town. Somrak then shifted the subject again for his own life-style during his active years of boxing. He said he was not a frequenter of a massage parlor; he said he was more of a pub-goer. Khao-sai then referred to a TV series called Nai Kanom Tom (a folklore character of a Thai boxing legend who fought and beat all Burmese boxers during the waging war between the two states), in which Somrak was a lead actor and Samart and Khao-sai were also co-acting. Somrak was offered that role due to his recently acquired Olympic gold medal championship at the time. Khao-sai said who would have thought Somrak -- a skinny type man with protruding chin --- would have a become a lead actor in a TV series. Samart, who has always been praised about his good looking, then joked that because of that role Somrak always claimed that Samart was only a supporting actor while he was a lead actor in that TV series. Somrak then bragged that he might be less good looking than Samart, but he is always more thrilling. Samart agreed and said everywhere Somrak set foot in, that place would always be noisy thanks to Somrak's jovial character. Samart said Somrak is always the loudest among all, and praised him as a good entertainer. Samart then said he had been accused of being rude padding Somrak's head all the time during their conversations on RU-vid. He revealed it was in fact Somrak's idea to play a joker while Samart would play a big brother stopping him from being a nuisance, only for entertaining purpose. Khao-sai then said during that TV series -- Nai Kanom Tom -- both of them (Khao-sai and Samart) teased Somrak all the time during the shooting. Somrak then shot back -- the characters those two played were dumb, which is easily apparent by the name of the characters they played -- Bu meaning dumb played by Khao-sai, and Dum meaning black played by Samart (black normally referred to dark skin, a less preferable skin color here in Thailand). Samart then mentioned that during the old days Khao-sai once trained at the same gym Samart had always been at (Sit Yod Thong Gym) but they never been close. They became close during their acting career after retirement. Samart said they all had a luxury of being boxers -- as people in this profession became close easily and in that TV series there were six or seven of them playing and it was a good time as they teamed up and became close. Somrak said it was his style that he always brought his friends to step up to something different. He said once he joined the Navy and became a naval officer, he asked permission to bring his friends into the Navy as well, and once he was in an entertainment business, he brought several of his friends to have that type of experience too. Samart agreed. Khao-sai then said when Somrak first came in to the entertainment business, it was he who helped and guided him about each and everything he would need to learn about what was all about in that business. Samart then said one time he was offered to play a queer, and after he was dressed up as a queer, he came up to the director saying he would not fit that role and offered that his friend Khao-sai would do. Khao-sai accepted the role and it was quite a successful one. They ended up promoting their own RU-vid channels, and a boxing oil under the name Song-Pa-Yak. Song means two, while Pa-Yak means tiger. Song-Payak represents the two brothers -- Samart and Kong-Thoranee Payak-Arun. _________ Hope you'd enjoy reading it.
