I get it like at least some more English phrases here and there would make sense, but there are in my home country a lot of foreigners that with ppl from their own country only speak their shared language so in a way it seems likely again.

@@mi6Chii Oh, I completely understand. I was just pointing out that it is ironic, because the characters Kuea and Kon Diao spent a long time in England, yet seldom speak English. I wonder if the character Jay (owner of Gemini club) was a foreigner in the book. I bet not! But in this episode, Jay tells Lian (about the propoasl Lian gives him) that his English is not very good. I'm guessing Perth's Thai has a bit of an Australian accent.

@@andydufresne5297 no,in novel Jay is from England who lived in Italy. Also, some people even if they were in another country, after coming back don`t talk on that language)
