While you're confused by ประมูล ประเมิน ประมาณ or ไมค์ ใหม่, we have to deal with 'taught', 'though', 'thought', 'through', 'tough', 'thorough', and 'throughout' 😂
I appreciate that your dedication and trying to study and learn Thai language as much correct as you can do. Sometimes, there are a few mistakes minor issues such as long and short pronouncing. Tho I allegedly believe that that's understandable by prepositions and just keep practicing and speaking out you will be expertise eventually. Cheers.🎉
Your clip made my day! I crack up laughing 😂Similar words are tricky, even Thai ppl don't used to those vocabs you learned. บุหรี่เรียกเป็น มวน หรือ ม้วน ก็ได้ค่ะ mostly everything rolled can be calling "ม้วน". But we are too lazy to remember too. Wishing you and your family happy and healthy ค่ะ.
กระ is an augmentative prefix in Thai which exists purely to form new words, which is why so many words begin with it For example, กระรอก ("squirrel") came from Proto-Tai _*roːkᴰ_ ("squirrel"); กระดูก ("bone") came from Proto-Tai _*C̥.dukᴰ_ ("bone"); กระเป๋า ("bag; pouch; wallet; purse") came from Middle Chinese 包 _paew_ ("bundle; parcel; bag; package")
You speak very very good Thai! I enjoy listening to your babble LOL. The reason why Thais pronounce 'Bill' as 'Bin' is because basically there is no L sound for the final consonant in Thai. So you would hear Thais pronounce 'Appern' or 'Apperw' instead of 'Apple', and 'Bin' or 'Bew' instead of 'Bill.
ฮ่าๆ พูดเก่งมากแล้ว I still have many words I'm confused about as well. I find the Thai people who are used to speaking with foreigners or language learners can often get the right word from the context even if its not 100% correct but when I try to speak with older people or those that don't speak with non natives much I get a brick wall of non understanding.
ประมูล (pra-mool)= auction ประเมิน(pra-mern)= estimate ประมาณ (pra-marn)= about ,around 😅😅 About lazy to ร😂 so true😅😂 หมุน “hmoon” = turn around (just like earth turn around itself) ม้วน “muan(t)” = roll มวน “muan” = numerative noun of cigarettes มวล “mual(n)” = mass Your Thai was good. It was not bad at all😊
