Take it easy my dear Cambodian friends. This is not a copy of Campuchia culture. This lakorn is a story based on an ancient city called Champasri which was actually located in Maha Sarakham Province in the present day Thailand. The city was prosperous during 1000-1200 B.E., and 1600-1800 B.E. (Buddhist Era). It was part of "Tolopoti", "Chohopoti", or ทวาราวดี kingdom which spanned a large part of Thailand. Their culture was influenced by Hinduism/ Brahmic culture. This is why they dressed like that. If you study archeology, people around here dressed this way over a thousand years ago. So I hope this correct your misunderstandings. Peace and respect to you all.
I feel happy 😊 when you change the image of Angkor and I guess my country will preferential about that. I do not blame anything , I hope next time there will be no such misunderstanding 🙂😇ขอบคุณมากครับ
They try to get our culture why do you still happy with their movie if they are good not take our Cambodia 🇰🇭 culture to do in their movie do you know. You support them with their movie is it right or not
To all the comments from the Cambodian, we understand that your history has been erased by your leaders. Your people was killed brutally for being highly educated and now you have got nothing left that could represent your culture no more. Don't you know that Asian countries do share some similarities between cultures to cultures. If you all want to claim everything well try but the world know it is not.
This is just a movie. It’s involved different cultures. It doesn’t matter which culture you believe. We are humans being after all.How about we talk about the movie, producers, the writer and other aspects. I love the scenery, beautiful.
