I love these reactions so much. It's a great way to rewatch to get ready for Season 2. You guys have mentioned a few time the sexual tension that is created by the small things. It's so different from other BLs although I feel like many are moving in that direction. I felt like Gene in Lovely Writer would be so subtle but so effective. I saw Teh and Oh aew's play fighting as this energy they didn't know what to do with so they would playfully hit and push each other to get that physical touch in a way that felt less scary than what they really wanted. Also I am glad you keep pointing out PP's stellar acting in this. I don't think it gets recognized enough. Billikin is obviously brilliant but so is PP. The transition from rivals to friends to love is acted, written and directed so beautifully. PP expresses the suspicion his character has of Teh's overly kind gestures in the beginning. Then there's Teh's jealousy that the Oh aew takes time to figure out is happening. It's on the boat where they confess without confessing that makes Oh aew realize this is real. Then you can see at the beginning of the weekend at the resort he's ready for something more till he hears the phone call with Tarn. This shift in the character by PP does not get enough attention!! He turns sassy, confident and flirtatious and everything about how he acts during the weekend at the resort is so small specific. Side note: the piano music in the scene in the hotel room when Teh is sulking cause he isn't rooming with Oh and Oh comes out is so perfect. It builds that tension and perfectly display the mess of emotions and feelings and attraction and jealousy that they both don't know how to fully express. I love the soundtrack for this series! Also That scene on the hammock gets me every time. I was so impressed with how PP acted it. There was a quiet confidence. By this moment Oh aew knew this was real. He also knew he had to drive it but he also knew he had to be careful not to scare Teh away. The way he sits up in the hammock and delivers those lines and stares into Teh's soul LOL! it was so just perfection. Yes Billikin is Brilliant but PP is too. He draws you in and quietly makes you focus on him and you believe everything in that moment. Sorry so long haha I clearly needed to get that out. I am at Tita Josie's level of love for this show. Also I would love to see you react to the documentary Tito Miles is right I think Tita Josie will love this series on a whole new level if that's possible. There was so much love, care, time and dedication put in to this series it's no wonder it's so good.
In that intense scene, I think Teh was already giving in to his feelings but when he was touching him and realized that he didn't have boobs and he is a guy, his fears about the relationship became real causing him to back away.
37:35 - 37:46 you're so chaotic omg how can conversation go from "the cinematography is so great" to "i don't think scissor*ng is for the gays" in 10 seconds? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Omg I'm done
