"Rig" means reasoning, and "lam" means path. The Dalai Lama has instructed the teaching of Riglam, or dialectics, in his schools. For example, the Tibetan Children's Village School in Gopalpur has Riglam practice. The Department of Education has also inaugurated debates on Tibetan Buddhist dialectics between 142 students from Tibetan schools in exile.
