I can't emphasize enough how enjoyable and informative your documentaries of the past are for the preservation our people's history: for us and the generations to come. Having been born and lived in Eritrean for my first 13 years, it reinforces my love and respect of my origin as I have lived in the diaspora for more than 40 years...keep working harder to preserve our people's history before all who can tell this awesome history are no more...Respect for your work!!!

This is a quote from an Italian general that you can find in Keren cemetery. I'm not related to your land, nor to Africa more in general by any meaning, but I think that this quote really summarizes the way I see you. It's very true. As sure as we will be forever tied somehow, I think that we should use the XXI century to try to earn the same amount of respect that you earned us in the XIX and XX century. Just to show you that we can be good with you as the Eritreans have always been with us. We don't live in our granpas' world. And if we treasure the teachings that the colony gave to both of us (yeah you people certainly impacted the Italian society, especially in terms of human values), we can surely start to build a partnership that aims to give you the Eritrea that you people simply deserve. To me, personally, it's a mere matter of quantity of cash, the rest in Eritrea is already as it should be. You guys will make it for sure, simply because of preconditions. And overall I truly think that you'll end up becoming a true inspiration for the rest of the African continent. Keep doing your things. To me Italy is also Eritrean, rather than Eritrea being also Italian. We are with you, but in the proper way, the Eritrean one.
