I read Colnel Merisha’s autobiography with enthusiasm. Besides its autobiographical nature the book has significant contribution to the history of the establishment of the Ethiopian Police Force and the Police College. The book has jewels of cultural memories that educate the reader through humorous and informative incites, particularly on the traditions, etiquettes and discipline of the then generation. On the personal side the book depicts the struggle we encounter as human beings and the gratification we achieve through challenges.
