Wow I remember Ethiopia Alfred from Nazareth school I am quite impressed God bless you for your compassion and kindness you showed for this young man making a difference in one perso s life is a huge accomplishment congratulation u are an inspiration
Ethiopia Alfred Tebareki I am proud of you congratulation on your accomplishment I wished your Mom & Dad feel what you did to our Ethiopian Shampion I congratulate you&him with blessings
Please let's not say his Mom rejected him. She's still his Mom even named him Lemen Sisay. No one replace her. It's unfortunate she didn't get a chance to raise him. Do not judge her. We can't judge people. Thank you Ms Ethiopia your final word was great about his Mom. Its okay he is now Lemen Sisay and great human being to be proud as Ethiopian ❤❤❤God bless you 🙏 ❤️
His mother is an incredible woman filled with love and compassion. I don't claim to know her but I've met her enough times to witness how much she cares for others. I applaud her for remaining true to herself and leaving the limelight for those who seek it. I see so much of her in Lemn. I believe their heart is eternally connected. It's pure love, the kind that doesn't want anything from the other person.
Wow this is Amazing women her self she has been doing amazing work I. Her life . I am so proud of you as Ethiopian Women ! We have to support and show love to Lemen Sisay ! He is such gifted Ethiopian Man ! What an honor to know him ! We are so proud of you sir!
You are unique women and Lima Sissy is Ethiopian Diamond. When i came across his name 2014 I spent all night watching his poem and his interviews. Literally the night passed and I had to get up in the morning and went to work without asleep. When I saw his interview that he did at age 18, I cried! ( I saw a boy who is in pain, it broke my heart) I love him and hope to meet him and you.
WOW inspirational lady, you just love her. her generosity and good heart change society and perception...not to mention fixing the past misfortune and mistakes,,, Lemen is a small step as a person but her work is a giant step in humanity and especially Ethiopian.
I don’t know why she is painting such an ugly picture about his mom? The mother and son have their own relationship. He has met her children. She checks on him. Their relationship is private. He has shared his account with his mom on social media, in radio interviews etc… We don’t say that Ms Ethiopia gave a lame excuse to not be involved in the current situation of Ethiopia when foreigners like Jeff Pearce are using their time and resources to help us. “I don’t want to carry 4 passports”. Really? Who doesn’t have mix ethnicity in Ethiopia? Or Ms Ethiopia hasn’t shared her real reasons? We can speculate many things. However, she is the only one who knows why and we have to respect her decision. Similarly, we should refrain from judging others for not having fulfilled their responsibility without knowing and understanding their situation.
I am a little confused…. I don’t think she denied him of childhood. Given his comment …. He was taken from her without her wish or will … she was actually trying to get him back since his childhood
His mother has never rejected him. Please don't distort facts to get prominence. The title of this program itself is wrong. The lady who is talking about Lemin Susay is not his mother.
Deserve you deserve. You are a good mother. You show him you show him mother love forget about people they never be good negative person always negative. You are amazing woman.
Wow I am amazed look at her she looks barely 50. Hmm Lemin's mom will never answer his 'why' but might show him affection eventually. Mothers like his are plenty in this world.
Very honest in regard to economy and war. Sad but true. The other point she made is good, smart, politicians don’t stand a chance because of personal family attack …so they give up as life is too short. Mrs. Ethiopia would love to read your book your experience is fascinating will help many and I am proud of you.
Ethiopia you have a big name you do a lot of good work for community I respect that However it’s a shame that you don’t have to say the word reject by his mother in the media Because Lemn Sisay on his several interviews never mentioned rejection so please don’t do this to him he already traumatized by his childhood What you did for him is more beneficial for you than him it’s nice he have you as friend he still have families who loved him dearly plus his fans all over the world he is genius and humble man you make it sound like he sickening attention he have the most amazing attentions in the world . Jus be he’s friend Thanks
I remember he used to work very closely with the Embassy and he was a guest of honour in two cultural evenings organised in 2015 and attended by more than Four Hundred people. I appreciate mrs Ethiopia for what she has done but might not have full information of the programs held in London and elsewhere to honour Lemin
wro Ethiopia.... thank you very much for what you did to Lemin Sisay, Can you contct Addis Ababa University English Department so he can lecture there?
The Ethiopian government should do a big event and invitation for him to welcome him to tell him how proud we are. They should work on this. This is a big deal.
Dear Ethiopia, you did an amazing humanitarian, loving, Motherly care for your God Son. I listen to the Video carefully. You’re an awesome woman. As a young you, you were beautiful. You still look very much beautiful.✋🏽🤩
May God heal his mom. She probably punishing herself as she feels guilty…Hope she sees this video and know no one will judge you and you need to forgive yourself First of all you were young and it happened Please reach out to your son and give him that priceless hug. Forgive yourself as you did nothing wrong You deserve his hug. He is talented. I have read his poetry he is extremely talented. God bless him his mom and god mom. He should read his poetry in all African event
The mother is a relative, she is playing with fire. She has fabricated her own story, which will not help, she should have enjoyed her glory in her private life. His mum is a beautiful woman who was victimised. They need privacy and happiness.
He was born out of wedlock and it was a taboo? Probably. She is an amazing woman for those who know her in a professional world. It is such an unfortunate situation.
@@southbankificationwhoever you are please stop impersonating Lemn Sissay. He does neither speak/hear nor write Amharic as you are trying to portray him. In case you do not know, except his biological heritage, he is typical Briton. Why don't you comment as yourself instead of hiding behind a fake account in the name of the person whose story is at hand? Shame on you.
