in the HOLY BIBLE it is written that THERE IS NO OTHER NAME UNDER HEAVEN GIVEN AMONG MEN FOR BY WE MUST BE SAVED. only the name JESUS can save. and this is because the BIBLE says that ALL HAVE SINNED AND HAVE FALLEN SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD. that ALL includes all the saints including the virgin MARY. yes she was pure and perfect, but she was still a human and who so ever is born human has the sin of adam, thats why it says ALL HAVE SINNED, every one born a human is a sinner, thats why david
sayed MY MOTHER CONCEIVED ME IN SIN or in other meaning he was saying he was born a sinner, because the sin of adam is a curse for all generations. and the one that was suppose to stop the curse by taking our curse had to be with no sin at all.so that tells us it cant be a human, because all are sinners thats why SAINT MARY said MY SPIRIT DOES MAGNIFY LORD GOD MY SAVIOR. even she needed a savior, because even though she was perfect she was still a human and had that curse of adam that us all
what are you talking about? Who said anything about saints taking Christ's place? With the exception of St. Mary, who said saints did not sin?? Orthodox does not say that. It is one thing to respect them for the life they lived and the examples they showed by imitating Christ, it is a completely wrong thing to think that you are equal to them in grace..They have sinned with the exception of St. Mary, they know they have sinned but their level of grace is unimaginable compared to yours.
