የዚህ ዘመን ስልጣን የዛፍ ላይ እንቅልፍ ነው  

"መስቀሉን ተሸክሞ ይከተለኝ" ማር8፥34

"ጠቢብ በጥበቡ አይመካ፥ ኀያልም በኀይሉ አይመካ፥ ባለጠጋም በብልጥግናው አይመካ፤ ነገርግን፥ የሚመካው ምሕረትንና ፍርድን ጽድቅንም በምድር ላይ የማደርግ እኔ እግዚአብሔር መኾኔን በማወቁና በማስተዋሉ በዚህ ይመካ" ኤር9፥23
"Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, nor the mighty man in his power, nor the rich man in his riches, but let him boast in knowing and realizing that I am the Lord, who exercises mercy and judgment and righteousness on earth." Jer 9:23
