Dear Dr. Melese I wish all the blessings of our Lord to you. I have listened Zelalem Mengistu's apolegestic regarding the issue in Ethiopian Evangelical Church of Beyrut, pastored by Elias Gebre. Unfortunately Zelalem implicated the morale decadence of the pastor and mentioned your failure to deal with the violator partially due to your blood relationship. Is that true? Personally I found the whole allegation troubling as it doesn't not represent Pastor Melese Wegu whom I have known for decades. For the sake of fairnes and God's kingdom would you so please take time with other independent elders and investigate the case so that the blame on the Church will get resolved.
