The rise and fall of the Wihtikô at North End" is a story that was told by the late elder George (Mâyâcan) Nanemahoo of Wabasca, Alberta. This is the complete story. It was originally recorded on cassette tape in 1978. I was given the digitized copy of this audio recording by a resource elder I worked with at the cultural centre in Wabasca, Alberta, and he also granted me permission to upload this video onto RU-vid with Cree Syllabics subtitles. I started to work on this project at the start of the Covid-19 quarantine at Ministikwan Lake Cree Nation, Saskatchewan in mid-March 2020. The backgrounds I used are from south shore of Orloff Lake, Alberta and east shore Calling Lake. (In the video editor I clicked on "enhance narration" and unfortunately it also enhanced the background noise). - ᐅᐳᔭᐍᐢ C.R. Houle, Wabasca, Alberta
