From the Taiwanese movie that was shown in Cambodia and Ros Sereysothea did a cover of this sad song. They're both good but, I still like Sothea version much more because of its soulfulness and much more emotional.

Not to worry, a group of Khmer film enthusiasts have made a short 10 minute video detailing about the movie already. In fact, they actually have claimed to have a print of the film, but in Khmer dub only. There definitely needs to be a restoration and remastering effort based on that known existing film print.

Sorry for commenting in English, but the movie this song (回到娘身旁) was made for is 心酸酸 (1972). The video of mine you linked is NOT made for that film (both original, and remake). In the video I posted, that is a Khmer remake of 我心碎了 (1971), done by an amateur film crew using cheap digital cameras and very poorly done ADR work, likely due to the fact they are a very cheap, direct-to-video film studio with a lack of skills and education. The only common elements both Taiwanese films 我心碎了 (1971) and 心酸酸 (1972) have are they have the same director + writer, and both films have songs sung by 林秀雲 for the soundtrack.
