@@a7n66 Honestly, if this mystery-person would ever really go out and reveal themselves, they'd probably be a decently famous singer. Granted, keeping unnamed videos and an unnamed channel is a very respectable thing. Staying out of the limelight like they do.

Kuddos to the artist who draws amazing backgrounds for all the namless songs, they are absolutely beautiful, let's all appreciate everyone's hard work to produce such an amazing music full of stories for our ears and pleasant art for our eyes, thank you everyone! It's a real story time whenever releases a new music!
The song aside, which is really fantastic, I just can’t not laugh how the captions are swap xD Edit: now that the captions are fixed, this comment now make no sense :(
I wonder if this is based on the red room curse? It was a video that asks "Do you like the red room?" Which sort of coincides with the song going "I hate it." And the room is apparently painted red with the victims blood, which also goes with the lyrics here, "The red light I was sent was me."
See I would be 100% hooked too if the place this took place in wasn't a goddammit toilet. Why are they in the BATHROOM of all places.so now I'm 90% red room 11% confused
It reminds me more of this japanese hide and seek game where u open up a bear, hide something inside of it and then u stitch it up with a red thread. After stitching the bear u drown it in bathtub/sink and find a place to hide because the bear will start moving and will try to find you. If it finds u something bad happens (which explains why shes in bathroom and i think those eyes drawn on bear means hes looking for u. ) I dont remember any details because i read about this years ago. If anyone knows this story's name please share.
While both artists specialize in horror-themed songs, someone like Kikuo makes music that's more focused on being disturbing and surprising, while blank name's songs are more often melancholic and unsettling. It's pretty interesting how different spins are put on similar ideas in music like that.
Kikuo's work covers a variety of themes and his lyrical style is full of sensory imagery, like painting with words, just the way he paints with music-his production is insane, layered with carefully crafted textures and an outstanding sense for melody. His music and lyrics work symbiotically and always reflect each other in some way. He has a very characteristic knack for the spiritual (even has a whole album where the common link is death as a part of life). Rather than specializing in horror I'd say his music is simply highly emotional and mature; disturbing themes are a part of that. What makes this so captivating is how resourceful and creative he is when tackling these themes. Wakame, like others, started out imitating a certain genius for fun, then in looking for his own niche he picked urban legends and sorta stuck with it, for now. He's still a bit green and his songs tend to sound very similar but, as seen in the song he based on the NNN Extra Broadcast, he has potential to grow into something quite interesting as long as he focuses more on experimenting and less on recycling patterns, while maintaining the half whimsical, half nonchalantly unsettling style he's been developing. To be frank, I'm perplexed to see both their names mentioned here since they're completely different (partly because one has much more experience in the field than the other to start with), but I guess it can be easy to default Kikuo as a 'horror musician' despite how rich his body of work is. If anything though, I'd compare Wakame with Machigeriita, who actually specialized in horror-themed songs when he was active back in the day. Sorry for the longass reply, I'm mostly just thinking out loud and gushing to myself bc I love music bye
Kikuo's songs when looking at them all have a spectrum between disturbing and a grotesque subject matter (Cotton Candy and Gommene Gommene fit this side), similarly grotesque subject matter hidden between either a veil of joy or sick beats (Soshite Kimi wo Tsuki ni Natta and Welcome to the Star Inn fits this category), and sad and melancholic (UFO fits this category). There's been the occasional truly wholesome song with Kikuo, but it's now died off as darker music has been the main focus of work.
honestly I like both of them… but this song “ ‘’’’’ “ is the best one for me imo meanwhile overall I like kikuo better than x0o0x_ , this is just chefs kiss

1:56 This part. This part, man. The voice is so passionate, and with all the accompanying violins, it feels both graceful and powerful at the same time.
Can't wait to come back in another week or so to read the comments and learn how this song is a reference to an old creepy pasta/folk tale again. (Clarifying, not being sarcastic. That's genuinely one of my favorite parts of these songs)
@@MythicalAM dang. Pretty sure that's darker than any of the other ones they've referenced yet (at least, from the ones I've seen). On a side note, that reminds me of something from the game The 25th Ward: The Silver Case. I'd be really surprised if that game wasn't intentionally referencing it and that really changes how I see that part of the game. Thank you.

It kind of gets me the vibe that it's, again, a kind of reference to the urban legend: "The Red Room Curse", but that's just a theory... Otherwise, it's a very good song again! I really enjoy the songs on this channel a lot! Keep going with the good work
@@foooooood yep, so far they all seem to reference urban legends. First we had kisaragi station, then monkey dreams, and finally NNN special broadcast. I wonder what this one will turn out to be when the lyrics get translated.
@@ryldmeh251 There are already english subs. For some reason, though, the english subtitles are in the Japanese captions for youtube. Edit: nvm theyre fixed now
as theorized this song was describing about Hitori Kakurenbo Main Clue: - The teddy bears spread around have eye symbol on them and its hypothetically means how they will look after her - Hitori Kakurenbo usually done by drowning the bears at bathtub or sink Supporting clue: - She mentions the word "Red" multiple times, Hitori Kakurenbo bears stitched using red threads - The lyrics "Someone passed by, i can't go, i'm stuck, i can't go back" means that someone else passed by while she played the game, the rules stated that if someone else was with you, theres a chance the bear will "found" them instead of you, what she means by stuck is that you can't cancel the game halfway - "Will this abandoned body smiles when it comes and picks up someone?" line is a bit vague, but probs it means that the bears are the abandoned bodies and they will pick her up or someone who "passed by" - "Hey, how long has it been since i've been here?" is her probably keeping up on how many times have passed since she hid, the game rule said its better to keep the game duration under 2 hours so the spirit isn't that hard to get rid of - "I could see the other side, forever burning red behind me" seeing the other side, she's probably has given up and the bear somehow founds her - "That red light i sent, was me" im not really sure what this means, we know the word "red" associated with the bears but "was me" is just a weird addition, she probably named the bear after herself which isn't allowed, idk what's the impact but yes
I don't how many times I heard the word "aka" or "akai" which means red. But if I'm not wrong, I heard there is 4 "aka / akai" in this video. 4 is shi and shi is "death" Also the fact that the background is red just support this theory even further.
@@jaeyyolo i rewatched it and she said "aka/akai" 5 times, 4 of them is a repeated lyrics and the last one is a single lyric at the end, the red light part
AAAYYYY THE NAMELESS GOD HAS GIVEN US A BLESSING Seriously, thanks for making those music lol, it's great to not having songs invaded by tik tok but also doing a good old reference.
I find this song Interesting in its discussions. This is 's First Song of the series where the inspiration debated to be between multiple urban legends. It seem like 65% of comments are saying "Red Room Curse" and the other 35% are saying it is "One Man Hide and Seek". I definitely see where both sides are coming from. The Art to me suggests the latter option to be the case but I can't say for certain and part of me thinks it is referencing both simultaneously. Either way, love the song the same.
@@cheeze588 In case you're still wondering the red room curse is an urban legend where a red pop-up will ask "あなたは(Insert something here)好きですか?" or "Do you like (Insert something here)?" after you close the pop-up it will reappear saying this time "あなたは赤い部屋が好きですか?" or "Do you like the red room?" after the screen will turn red displaying the names of the victims of the red room after the victim will feel a mysterious presence behind them and will lose consciousness they will later be found dead with the walls of their room "Painted red with blood" while one man hide-and-seek is basically hide-and-seek with a spirit it appears in another song.
@@cheeze588 One man hide and seek is a popular ritual game to play- it has a lot of steps and there are various details that you can swap out (eg. using a stuffed toy instead of a doll, or any sharp edge to replace the knife used). If you want I could copy-paste a whole list I made once to document the various steps and rules people have discovered/made for it!
THE ART LOOKS SO COOL OMG THE EYES THE HAIR THE EYE ON THE TEDDY BEAR THE THE EVERYTHING THIS I JUST KNOW THIS IS GONNA BE ONE OF MY FAVOURITE SONGS NOW EEEE
Jeez I feel bad for the nameless girl that appeared in these songs... she’s probably traumatized after having to deal with Kisaragi station and Saruyume, and now the Red Room curse
The fact that RU-vid messed up and labeled English as Japanese and Japanese as English in captions (for me at least, not sure about others) makes this so much better
So as much as I watch this I assumed this song based on Hitori Kakkurenbo ( One-man Hide-and-seek) and the lyrics are in the spirit we invite POV. So here something I can point out: - 0:20 "Empty form the start, can't feel, not bad for a walk on death's doorstep"- So I think this statement was about about a spirit that originally dead and they wandered for awhile. Since they are dead and continued stay on earth so that make them empty from the point where they started to become a wandered spirit, can't feel anything. - 0:32 "A red light began to block out the echoing sound" - About this part, I was confused at first and start to think about The Red Room (another Japanese Urban Legend) so I start a research and eventually read some articles that state when you play the game, the television must switch to the no signal channel or some sort of channel that are not playing anything. Some said that when they play the game, the television switch to the reddish channel so I think this part was about the spirit actual come and change the channel into the red channel that block out the echoing sound of original no signal channel. 0:38 "Someone passed by" is when they pass by when we do the ritual. - 0:40 "I can't go, I'm stuck, I can't go back" - I think this part is about the spirit get trap in the vessel that made to play the game. They are stuck inside and can't escape, they hate it 0:46 . - 0:50 "Somewhere along the line, I believe in someone's lies" - After get stuck in the vessel, we invited them to play the game of One-man Hide-and-seek (But I believe we all know this is no game at all right? I mean we actually stab the spirit and wait for them to stab us back) and they believe in us this is a game but turn out they being trick so they called this is a lie. - 0:56 "I was so comfortable where I was taken, I didn't want to leave" - I have 2 theories about this: 1) Is after we stab them, they are start to use with the vessel we give them, they were so comfortable to the point that they didn't want to leave. 2) Is we won the game and take them to burn them down, they was comfortable after escape but they don't want to leave. - 1:01 "Forever burning red behind me. Will this abandoned body smile when it comes and picks up someone"- I think this is the part where we burn down the vessel, but the abandoned body part make think we failed to burn it down because of the rice inside was full of water ( This actually true) so we keeps the vessel that make the spirit wonder if this "abandoned body" will smile when it "kill someone". - 1:21 "Having fun and indulging, passing through the usual place and waiting you to come home" - So this is the point where the spirit start to having fun and haunting us. Also, I think after the first game, we start to addicted to the game and play it many time (Keys: "The usual place" in the lyrics and the pictures that have a-lot of teddy) and they still come back because they know we will play again and again. - 1:56 "Hey, how long has it been since I've been here?" - Eventually they start to ask us how long we play the game. And this is the point where we say f*ck this, we done with it and stop play the game. - 2:01 "I wanna keeps getting lost in a room that is empty from the start" - Us want to stop play the game has turn the spirit down because they still want to play with us more. - 2:06 "I could see the other side, forever burning red behind me" - I think we successfully burn down all the vessel and banish the spirit to the other side. So in their POV, we're their other side, watching us burn all of their "body". - 2:13 "That red light I sent, was me" - So after all of this, they become angry of us and start to haunt us. The red light is the television light which they sent to us as a message " It was me ". This is all my theory so it maybe false, feel free to share your opinion and sorry because of the terrible grammar.
Hitori kakurenbo is an excorcism ritual. We bet our life in exchange for their release, because “what’s the point of playing if i’m the only one who loses?” so the thought that the spirit wants to keep playing the game because they don’t want to go to the other side and keep wandering their residence makes a lot of sense :) thank you
Yet another amazing song, I believe this one is based on the creepypasta called "Hitori Kakurenbo", or "Hide and Seek alone". The idea is that you get a stuffed doll (a teddy bear in this case), get a spirit to possess it and play a twisted version of hide and seek. If the spirit can find you, you die. However, I am not not 100% certain the song is indeed based on hitori kakurenbo, since I can't match the lyrics to the creepypasta, only the background art
There are quite many references I could get in this song: 1. The Red Room Curse (Judging from the Lyrics) 2. One Man Hide-and-Seek (Judging from the Teddy Bears that have eyes on them and the Room) I think everyone can guess what is this song was inspired from :)
@@visib_uncomfy the One Man Hide-and-Seek is usually done by one person, all they need is an unused doll to do the game, replace cottons with rice, use the red strings to stitch it and put it in a bathtub filled with a bit of water, make sure all the lights are off. A person must call the doll's name out 3 times after the countdown and must be quiet. Then, they have to come and find the doll using a weapon in order to kill it. This is a very risky game, if anyone dared to do so, it will cause death. Not the best explanation but I hope this helps ^^
I just realized that this is a human vocal while the other upload is a Vocaloid (or UTAUloid?) vocal. I can't believe that took me four songs of theirs to realize this-
Kinda able to tell the difference between Vocaloid and The actual voice though, but yeah Hatsune Miku's voice my sounds natural at first, when its entering vflower's you shouldve realized it
I noticed that this wasn't a vocaloid when it started, and my first thought after that was "Hey, this kinda sounds like Mafumafu in a way" before realizing that this is probably the voice provider for the main vocaloid singing.
