Whenever we see videos from the International Space Station (ISS), we see astronauts floating inside, seemingly unaffected by gravity. This often leads to the misconception that there is no gravity in space. However, at the altitude at which the ISS orbits, approximately 400 km above Earth, the gravitational pull is about 90% of what it is at the Earth's surface. So why do astronauts inside the ISS appear weightless?
