Great video! It helped a lot! As others have said, getting the correct cable was the hard part. The parts store sold me the wrong one first. The correct part is the Dorman 924-481. It is almost 25" long. Apparently the mix up is if you have power locks or not, but most do. But the part most stock is for without power locks. Hope this helps!
Very helpful especially the tip to remove the window track nut and give yourself some extra space to get your hand in there. I have pretty big mitts and was very helpful, thanks
Wow this was the easiest way to replace the cable. I must watch a bunch of videos saying take out the latch and replace the cable I could not get the clips out for the rods and then I just happen to click on your video and boy thats the best way to do it how you showed
That video was great after watching a couple of 20+minute videos I knew there had to be an easier way without the risk of breaking some of the plastic clips trying to detach the linkage. Worked perfect and a 2 minute video😛. Much appreciated.
This made it way easier than all the other videos!!! Appreciate it!! Now to find the right cable!! Been to auto zone, orilleys and advance auto parts all only have 2 options of cables and one is too short and one is to long!! What cable did you use?
@@deadlyliquidpcpyes. It just started working a couple of days later once it warmed up. So then I sprayed it with silicone lubricant and open and closed it a bunch of times. I did the same thing on all 4 door latches. Working fine now.
