I would never ask a friend to help me move (I like what Jess said 😂) but if for some reason I had to help a friend move, and something was damaged, I would also offer to pay like Andrea, but hope they say it is okay, lol. If you have something really expensive or sentimental where it isn't replaceable, it is on the owner to either take care of those items themselves or share with me that it is fragile and to be extra careful.

It's alright to say "No". Friendship is a handshake contract to connect. I don't lend my friends money. I don't watch their kids when they go on a date night. And I don't help them move out!!!!!

No way you ask your friend to pay! If you have expensive things, you should hire a professional movers or do it yourself 🙀

Jess : I would only ask people I hated to move 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 I agree I would be floored if someone asked this of me after 10 hours of giving up my precious time to help a friend. I agree Mel, they are not that close, the giving friend helping her move thought they were close but this person has shown her true colours.
