I’ll go out on a limb and admit, the punjab state is best governed by SAD Badals, the infrastructure development under them was the best They just messed up in the Behbal Kalan incident in 2016 and free energy to peasants is a blunder.

BJP took the right decision to contest elections alone, as when they were with these akalis, they only gave BJP 3 lok sabha and 23 vidhan sabha seats to contest, so BJP remained a junior partner and was not able to grow. This time it's a contest b/w aap vs BJP vs Inc, BJP has also given tickets to many turncoats like bittu, rinku, praneet kaur, etc. which have a good vote base and will definitely help them to increase their vote share and seats in Punjab. BJP is strong on:- Gurdaspur Hosiarpur Amritsar Jalandhar Patiala Faridkot Ludhiana Bhatinda My prediction for Punjab is:- BJP 4-6 minimum Sad 0-1 either of seats they won last time Inc last time 8,this time less than 4 Aap atleast 3

Sikh’s are voting for far right candidates because Akali Dal failed to represent them adequately. They were never able to get anything from BJP govt even though they shared power with them for so many years. Their partnership with BJP helped BJP to settle in Punjab and Sikh’s see this a threat to their only majority statehood. Sikh’s are generous and kind but others need to follow suit and try not to take advantage. There is huge vacuum in Punjab and after AAP failure lot of Sikh’s are ready to vote for far right candidates.
