Just saw it two weeks ago. Thought I would put it on the schedule because I heard the West End cast and liked the music. Absolutely one of the best musicals I have ever seen. The technological theatrics were astounding. The conventions of translating it to the stage, the acting, writing and inside jokes were amazing. When it comes near you. Go see it.
I went to New York for the first time last week, and I was debating on what show to watch and when saw they had a BTTF musical I knew i was gonna love it..the effects were awesome.and the amount of Improv was amazing laughed nonstop
Went to London from Australia to go see this. Now being a BTTF fan I was like oh no it's going to be ruined.......... Was I wrong. It was out of this world. Loved it. Yes there are a few parts that don't follow the movie but it didn't take away the amazing and truly awesome way this production was put together. Just when I thought it could get any better after some very very clever use of a digital back screen to create an illusion of moving and going up stairs, they fly the Delorean out into the audience. Just wow
It seemed weird to change BTTF into a musical at first but seeing it in person wipes all doubts away! The catchy 80s/50s style music blended songs, perfect acting, and a few interesting Easter egg make it unforgettable. The faithful prop details plus a few tweaks with the plot made it felt like seeing the movie both the 1st and the 999th time!
This is my favorite Broadway production out of the 7-8 I’ve seen 🙂 the production value and budget is really incredible! And I fell in love with all the actors :)
This is amazing. A dream come true for me!! I know it can be annoying for some people but broadway has always taken another adaptation and made it into a musical. And the musical kid in me always dreams of a musical version of my favorite book or movie. Its okay if you don't! But for me I've always wanted this!!!
My family was lucky enough to get tickets while in NY when the show first came out...they have not stopped talking about it yet! Entertaining, loved the show..fab!
Guess, this isn't for everyone. Anyway, apart from the great lyrics, music and props, costume, dancing, & so on, I like a lot how the dancers got the proper 80's hairstyle too. Looks like a kinda cool time travel the show itself. :)))
Just saw this on Broadway a couple weeks ago and I just woke up from a dream where I was watching it again. Man I wanna see this show again. Btw the camera loves Amber in this video
I saw it and it was great. Special effects were amazing. It was lame they cut out the Libyans. I thought Marty flooring it to 88 to outrun the Libyans was a great scene. Maybe they could have rewritten it so Doc stole plutonium from the Soviets. But I guess it would have been hard to have a car chasing the delorean on stage. Anyway great show
0:01 Oh Marty McFly And Doc Brown From Back To The Future The Original Classic West End Musical At London's Wonderful Adelphi Theatre. You Guys Are Too Funny And Hilarious As Mr Genie And Aladdin From Disney's Aladdin At London's Wonderful Prince Edward Theatre And The Beast Aka Prince Adam And Gaston From Disney's Beauty And The Beast At London's Wonderful London Palladium And The Dominion Theatre And Scar And Mufasa From Disney's The Lion King At London's Beautiful Lyceum Theatre.😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅 X
I want to see this, but I detest musicals. Hate 'em. I don't like getting pulled out of the story every ten minutes to hear a lame song about a mundane topic. I think that's the main issue. Most of the songs suck.
This is so corny and just not a good song for a musical. It's trying to get to that place little shop before us was but these are just bad songs unfortunately
Gosh as a hardcore BTF fan ( and Roger Bart in Hercules), and who was open to that, now I know I will NEVER ever watch that show!! Terrible! Looks like a game-show to me,..? Where are the A.Einstein and Stokowski references..? This is like a bikini-contest
As someone who’s seen the show, the show is actually really good. It may not look like but it definitely feels like a love letter to Back To The Future. They obviously had to make a few changes but it’s a good show! And Roger Bart actually plays a great Doc Brown!
And Casey looks nothing like Michael J. Fox, but so what? Both Roger and Casey are putting in fine performances that transcend the need to be mirror images of the movie actors.
Not everything needs to be a musical. I would never pay money to see this when the movie was top tier. Why do we need a musical version of this. Get some new ideas and stop making every movie into a musical.
When it comes to entertainment, we don't NEED anything. Yes, the movie is top tier, but the effects in this musical (and some of the performances) are top tier too. No one is forcing you to go, but if you did, you might be surprised by how much you enjoy it. Many other people have had that experience.
@@LuckyDipster2 look it’s just my personal opinion. I feel like there is no originality anymore in entertainment. Now they are turning The Notebook into a musical. It’s just lazy to me. I won’t spend my money on these kinds of shows bc to me, there’s no point in turning a blockbuster movie that provided a satisfying feeling both visually and with the story that is being told, I don’t need to run and spend hundreds of dollars to see it be sang. For me, it makes no sense.
@@trevortenentes1319 I'm not saying you shouldn't have your opinion. I'm just giving the other side of it. 😊 This show took over a decade to make it to the West End and now Broadway which is the opposite of lazy in my eyes. It is Bob Gale's passion project and a gift to fans like me who love being able to relive the experience in person over and over with other like-minded individuals. When some theatres are sitting empty, it is shows like BTTF that are bringing tourists (like myself) to Broadway. While I'm there I'll also see some other shows, so they get to benefit too. 😎
