I used to play against Emily for Aylestone St James juniors. We had to have our two biggest marking her every game. I'll never forget how she used to tear through our team! I didn't know her personally but I'm genuinely proud to see how much she's achieved.
Great video, cool to see a journey told through jerseys. Looking at that first england shirt, just shows how far not just Emily has come, but womens rugby in general.
Involved as player. coach and ref for nearly 60 years, but get more fun out of watching The Red Roses thaan anything. They play great rugby and show great commitment. Go girls! Go Emily!
Great ambassador Emily. Off to see Loughborough next week, such ashame you're not playing but hope to see you okay soon. Will hopefully see Katie and Sarah x
You have a reputation as a great goal kicker Emily, and watching you in action is poetry in motion! How did you become such and accomplished goal kicker and do the England women's team have a kicking coach?
I've been following the RED ROSES Rugby Union team since 2017. Unfortunately I've been unable to attend any matches by hopefully one day?? Well done to you all. My wife & I enjoy your matches, your successes are an inspiration for Women's Rugby.
Hi Emily my name is Mimi! I have been doing rugby for four years now and i had the same problem as you the boys wouldn’t pass to me! But now they have realised I’m actually alright!!! I love rugby ( TACKLING). I have met one of your team mates ( Shauna Brown) a couple of times when I have watched Harlequins play. You are an amazing person and I look up to you! From your admirer Mimi!!
Wow! Girls play rugby!!? Actually I did know that. Saw a T-Shirt supporting Woman's rugby , when I went to the grocery store this past weekend. I'm in Pennsylvania. Also one of my wife's good friends has a daughter who plays rugby in the UK. I played rugby at school in South Africa, home of the Bokke.
