That’s just not true brown never gets attacked the way Tatum does. Which is fine Tatum is the number 1 guy. He should take the blame that comes his way.
I'm a pacers fan from indiana..its almost over. If Haliburton out, it's over, we lose 1 home game it's over but we should have won game 1. And since it was on the road I still believe lol!
I’m kinda tired of hearing all these talking heads say they don’t trust the Cs or they aren’t as good as their record when they lose a game or they don’t blow them out. Then they put out the record of 15 pt wins this post season. It’s crazy. Nobody goes undefeated in the playoffs. The Celtics will prob win the championship this year. And I can’t wait for all of these shows to stumble over their words and give them props.
They rather he try to play hero ball like ANT and lose then play his game, play solid defense, and score 23-25 in a win. He’s not top 5 but he gets held to a crazy top 2 standard.
I agree but what’s crazy is Haliburton and Kawhi making it over him to. JB should of at least made 2nd team or 3rd team. He’s a top 15 player in the league
@@robertvega8358 Are you a voter? If not, it ain’t about you. If you were, the 6th and 7th seeds shouldn’t have more All NBA seats than the 1st overall seed.
Everyone wants to hate on the Celtics. As much as I dislike them they are just so well rounded. And when kp comes back they will definitely win the finals.
@@LeoSeasonzTV Hooefully its a extremely physical series with hard fouls (obviously dont want anyone injured) but I want then to be vruised and exhausted by the time they run into the Cs
@@RabbiTosmiser I always want to ask...what does not fixed look like? It seems the people who says it's fixed says every situation is fixed. Give me an example of what a not fixed game looks like.
@@RiceDaddy07 if it was fixed we'd have the knicks in the ECF.. indiana, despite their fire power, are a boring team. Knicks bring in so much money for the league and are much more fun to watch.
@faisalhilaby You must be a casual. If you actually watched the Pacers you would know they are far from boring. The media even talks about how fun we are to watch. You must be a Knicks fan
Siakam has been here before he’s not fazed at all and same with jrue. As a Celtics fan I’m greatful to finally have someone with championship experience on the team. I think the holiday trade was more important than the KP trade. The Celtics really finessed two all defense players for a bag a chips and a fridge 😂
I keep saying that at the rate the Finals are shaping up we might need Porzingis at like 70% because he was the counter to Jokic, but he’s gone now. We really need Jrue and D White to slow down either Kyrie/Luka or Ant/McDaniels. They do that I guarantee a championship this year.
Pacers just looked gassed after their 3rd playoff road game in 5 days. Hopefully being back home will give them a bit more of a boost. They still have a chance to make this a series, they just have to keep the turnovers down and they will need to tighten up on defense a bit. Celtics offense is just too good and consistent, and the series will be over quickly if they don't learn from their mistakes
Hali is innjured, Carlisle knows hes probably not returning. he has to think that theres maybe 5 games left, find something now and maybe give your self a chance.... this game was already over
Nah that was a bad move, thats telling his team he dont believe in them to make a comeback they are in a 2-0 holes and probably gonna get swept especially without Haliburton
He’ll get EC MVP from his first two performances alone.. The finals are a different story but regardless he’ll have the favorable matchup against whichever team we see in the finals.
as a spur fan for many years we tried all kinds of matchups in these type of games that were seemingly over and sometimes the spurs bench unit would make a run. other times the staff would learn things about the individual matchups like boris diaw can kind of guard lebron pretty decently. so when we need to get kawhi a rest we dont have to double to get a stop. and if coach said thats what he was doing is, seeing if any of his bench guys can get them quality minutes against whatever matchup they were getting, nobody would question him but he didnt word it the best way possible.
The Knicks and the Celtics are 2 very different teams. Knicks are definitely a good young team, but the Celtics, at least at this point, are much better. The Pacers are not coming back from this (taking into account the injury to Haliburton as well)
If the Knicks were healthy, the pacers wouldn't even be here. The Celtics are healthy minus Kristaps Porzingis(who might come back in game 4) . If Celtics win game 3 in Indianapolis, this is over in a sweep or maybe 5
Boston’s team is whipping them all. They have so much time to rest throughout the playoffs which means they can always move to 2nd, 3rd 4th or 5th gear. Boston should cruise and win the championship this season.
I was also shocked as a Celtics fan when Turner and Pascal were not out there. They get paid millions and millions. It’s for games like that. They are supposed to be out there every minute. I don’t think Carlisle will be the Pacers coach anymore after this series is over.
Rick Carlisle knows how to motivate his team. He yelled at them after game 2 in the Knicks series. Benching the starters was the action to match those words. The idea of saying, "I don't care if you're tired, keep being your best self," needs to consider that these guys have human bodies.
The Bill Russell/Red Auerbach Celtics had five 15 point playoff wins in one season twice. 1962 in 13 playoff games and 1963 in 12 playoff games. In 32 games in the finals against the Lakers, they won by 15 or more 5 times.
Pacers don't have what it takes "YET" as they clearly demonstrated that in game 1. This series is over.... Time for Boston to face a true adversary in the NBA Championship....
with all the love with JT we know he a superstar but yes honestly JB is being the best player so far this season overall based on statistics and hype plays that doesnt mean he better than JT just been more involved JT needs to give us the 50pt piece again to remind this serie is already over Halliburton not being at his best now getting injured this can stop at 5 big chance 🍀
@@khadijatbello6635he said he watching guys get anointed “right in front of him” and they arent half as talented on either side of the ball was what he said but nice try Tatum fan
I'm a CELTICS FAN!!! Stop reaching and looking for attention. Tatum and Brown compliment each other and have each other's back. Mfs keep trying to have them against each other. That narrative is getting real old
With Halliburton going down, the coach wanted to see if anyone else looked promising during garbage time. It makes sense to me because the game was over.
Sucks because I really wanted to see the Celtics lock up with the Knicks to revive the old rivalry that Auerbach and the Celtics used to have with Chamberlain and the Knicks. The Celtics and Knicks used to HATE each other. Had NY gotten it done then a Celtics/Knicks series probably would have been the biggest draw for the entire playoff bracket including the NBA Championship.
this series ain over yet!!!!! please no more injuries please i really hope tyrese will be ok but that hammy injury ain nothing nice!!!!! all these nba stars getting hurt needs to go get taught by bron how to take care of your body its no surprise that bron in his twenty years went through any significant injury seriously!!!!!!!
Benching your starters in the 4th quarter in game 2 on the Conference Finals should be a fireable offense, just crazy he basically told his team he dont believe they can make up a 15pts deficit they all proably gave up right there, Celtics in 4!
I know that the ESPN manufactured narrative is that the Celtics have had an easy path, but the Pacers wouldn't be here if they had to play a healthy Giannis, Dame, Middleton, Julius Randle, Hart, Bogdonovic, Brunson, etc. Let's not act like the Pacers had tough games.
@RL-ww5ev absolutely, they smoked the rest of the league to make sure they had a favorable path to the championship. They earned it. But now all of a sudden they're lucky? Boring? Not surprising from that network. They don't like anything from Boston. Real weird for a New England-based company
Tatum who’s supposed to be the guy got bailed out by his teammates especially by Brown. And Boston run so far in the playoffs is a Make A Wish to the finals. The Pacers at least will win one game
Carlisle I think is playing chess games bating the Celtics to take off their starters thinking they surrandered already and suddenly puts his starter back when the score is closer
They have Siakim but they also have turner I would’ve definitely kept them out there especially knowing Hal is hurt you can see what would be best for next game
Carlisle saying what he said is ABSOLUTELY waving the white flag, throwing in the towel, whatever analogy you want to use. After Haliburton went down, even he knows they’re not winning the series, and this answer is admitting defeat ahead of time. Not a good look to be honest.
Clear example on how numbers lie. Yea Greeny mentioned Bill Russell Celtics didn’t play as many playoff games as they do today BUT what about the Heat missing 2 of their 3 top players? Cavs missing their 2nd best player and arguably their most important player along with Mitchell missing games. Now they win by 16 with Haliburton going out. So why even show us that 15pt win stat?
If Hali is toast because of the hamstring, this should be a sweep, but it won't because the Celtics are gonna lose game 3 after finding out Hali is out like an hour before the game and they're gonna give up 30 to Nesmith or Nembhard.
Media...sheesh! On top of JB's 40, Holiday posts a double/double and D. White shoots 50% from the arc and all they can talk about is C's "underperforming". Gimme a break.
Halibroken. No sympathy here, especially when none of the Pacers ever credited the Bucks or Knicks for fighting to the end with depleted rosters. Injuries are part of the game. Next man up for the Pacers.
Well. To all of you Pacers fans that said injuries don't matter and it's part of the game regarding the Knicks series. How do you feel now if Haliburton can't return? Karma is a b---h
If the ex Celtics player (I mean Indiana’s coach) didn’t sit the starters, and if Indianas coach/XC’sPlayer fouled with a few seconds left in game one the vajayjay twins would be down 0-2. Jaylen Brown was having a great game, Jayson Tatum padded his stats after the starters sat…
They did this last series against the Knicks. Let’s just see them finish it first. And when are we gonna stop the “Celtics don’t wrap it up” story? They’ve gentlemen swept every team so far.
